The Prometheus storyline was dope and I don't want to alter it in any major way. Adrian Chase will always be Prometheus to me. Just like how Oliver Queen will always be the Green Arrow to me.
I don't see him Tommy would be the Vigilante he doesn't have that much against criminals even hated Oliver for killing people because he thought it was wrong even if they were murders.
Sure it could’ve worked but honestly, I was happy with what we got in S5 with Adrian Chase as Prometheus instead. Although I would’ve liked to seen Tommy as the big bad for S7 after the Prison arc instead. Maybe as the new Dark Archer leading the Thanatos Guild.
Prometheus was probably the top 2 villains of the show so I wouldn't want him changed, but Tommy would have been way better than Oliver's half sister story line that was awful, I didn't like it.
I really like how it played out in the show. Adrian Chase is my favorite villain and top 3 in the whole arrowverse
But if you were gonna do Tommy I would make flashpoint be the reason for him being alive again. That would make Flashpoint paradox have a bigger impact in the Arrowverse
Agreed. I love how Josh Segarra portrayed Adrian Chase but 15 year old me definitely thought that Tommy Merlyn would be returning as Prometheus. This is always how I imagined it would’ve gone had Tommy been under the mask.
People would've seen it coming miles away.....what made Prometheus work best is it being someone you don't know and him being a result of Oliver's murders
I always thought his adverse opinion of using the pit on Thea was based on him potentially using it on Tommy. Basing this on the line he gave Oliver when arguing against using it on Thea. It sounded too much like experience.
I've gone down this rabbit hole before. Yeah, it would've made for a WAAAAY better storyline that what we got. Any excuse to get back Colin O'Donnel too is great. Love that actor, a pity he was written off so early.

Flashpoint Paradox is fine for Flash, but it's dumb changing up Arrow drastically with something that didn't even happen on Arrow.
