I couldn’t wait to see them use the Lazarus Pit on him and how’d react to it. Then you find out that Maseo’s wife basically just treated his wound and time healed him
Yeah it was just stupid. Season 2 begun veering away from Arrow being Dark Knight light with Mirakuru and introducing Barry. By this point they could have gone full supernatural. Instead they try to be “realistic”. Besides Ollie surviving a stab wound and a fall off a freaking cliff lol. It was so goofy.
Ras' superpower - to stab someone in the hearth and then the wound to change place in the stomach.
Or the power of the main character - Sara was shot by Thea, fell from a roof and dies immediately. Oliver is stabbed by Ra's, fell from a cliff and survives from a magical tea.
Diggle should have been Blarrow for at least 3-4 episodes. I know contracts are involved but if they want to make fans think for a second that Oliver could die, sell it a bit better.
Same thing happened to Barry with the Speed force.
I think the problem with people actually believing they were dead is viewing figures will drop significantly. Both shows were heavily centred on the main character.
This is why I love this Ras in CW he was just such a presence but I didn't like how they had Oliver just healed from normal medicine instead of using the Lazarus pit to heal I feel like that would have worked out so much better and kept some sort of realism that they established in the first two seasons.
The last epic feeling I had of Arrow.

Especially since they ended up using the Lazarus pit anyway by the end of the season
HOLD UP, this aired nearly a decade ago???
I know right, I feel old 😩
Both were wrong
But for a brief moment there, only one of them could be right, and Ra's was (until he wasn't haha)
You couldn't wait until december to post this?
Can’t believe he got killed by a guy who wears pants so high
This part was so amazing to watch, i still remember it as it was yesterday

John Diggle, YOU are the new Arrow.

I remember being in middle school talking to my friends at lunch about how mad I was about that cliffhanger. Now I'm 22

This fight was epic. I hated how they ended it and was killing me having to wait months for the follow up
Damn how was that already a decade ago? Feels like yesterday.
