My dad had the entire ds9 on dvd and he would fall asleep watching it, when the dvd finished its 2-3 episodes, it would go onto the main menu screen. That theme song from the menu gave me ptsd because it would be on ALL NIGHT
Not seeing a lot of animation, so I'll bring Avatar: The Last Airbender and Adventure Time to the table.
Also my fiance's go-to show when she's feeling sick is Over the Garden Wall.
Dead Like Me, it’s free on Amazon prime if I recall correctly! Sorely underrated, pretty sure the writer went on to make Hannibal. It has its flaws, but in my opinion has a strangely beautiful outlook on life and death
Sunny, shameless, office, justified, breaking bad all shows I’ve seen every episode of multiple times. I put deadliest catch on alot at night to fall asleep watching
Z-nation,
Standard run of the mill the walking dead zombie apocalypse, except with goofy charicters, a zombie masiah figure, and fast shifts from jokey and wacky humor to dead seriousness.
It’s great, and on Netflix I think, I haven’t watched it in a while.
Seinfeld and King of Queens, watched reruns of both growing up because they’re two of my dad’s favorite shows. Whenever I feel life feels out of place or uncomfortable, watching those shows sort of makes me feel safe and cozy lol

Sunny in Philadelphia is my comfort show at the moment also. I put bobs burger on the side when I’m doing stuff.
I maintain that Bob’s Burgers family is the kindest, most well-adjusted family on TV.
the office
It certainly was for a long time, but it’s slowly moving into the “too nostalgic and makes me a little melancholy when I watch it” category.
The soundtrack instantly lifts me up

Give me that intro music to LOTR or Harry Potter and I am sinking into the couch with my blankey like a little boy.
i’m obsessed with the soundtracks
A soundtrack makes or breaks a movie IMO
I still get weepy every time I hear the shire theme
