Vatos Urban Tacos.
Went to the new one on Robinson Road the other day and it was good. Go on Tuesdays for $5 tacos. Lunch for 4 people came out to about $125 (only one beer and the rest had water).
Lazy Lizard at Promenade: Western food. I'm fond of the cooking here in general.
Canchita at Dempsey: Peruvian food. I personally come here for the appetizers mainly, I haven't found a main dish that really impressed me yet.
Plank at Swan Lake: Sourdough pizzas. This is run by the folks behind Baker & Cook. A little unorthodox, but tasty.
True Cost @ Suntec City.
They have a cover charge of $10 per person but the cost of each dish is a lot more reasonable than your average 'atas' restaurant. When you are sharing multiple dishes, it'll probably be under $60 without alcohol.
Bark cafe besides the changing prison museum. Local cuisine got wok hei, western is good too. Beer is cheap. N is pet friendly.
Mariner's Corner. Thank me later.
I was so sad that they shifted to the west. Preferred it when it was near outram
Old location was more charming too. A real throwback.
i'll be damned. they moved? thought just closed down. will look em up and visit them.
What's your go-to order when you're there?
Lamb Shank or Oxtail. Everything else they serve, you can get elsewhere.
Thank you!
