I have a few shampoos. I’ve had a lot of scalp, dandruff, and hair loss problems though so most of my products are gonna be geared towards those.
First shampoo is Neutrogena T/Sal that I use daily, less than $10. The active ingredient is 3% Salicylic acid. This does two things: cuts out a lot of my dandruff problems, and it also is a cheaper and more powerful acne wash, as the dedicated acne medications you get over the counter are 2% Salicylic acid. My face stays a lot clearer using this shampoo and it’s cheap. Honestly I’d recommend it for that alone.
Second I use is 2% Ketoconazole shampoo three times a week. It’s prescribed to help with hair loss and it also helps with dandruff. You can get Nizoral 1% over the counter. You can skip this if you dont have any hair loss or dandruff issues.
Then I use PurA’Dor Shampoo and Conditioner, again to combat hair loss, but I just like it in general. $25 for the pair, $50 for the concentrated advanced formula pair. Use something else if you don’t deal with hair loss.
Lastly if my hair is really frizzy or dry, instead of the other conditioner I’ll use an Avocado conditioner I got on amazon for like $10-15, then rinse with colder water for the last 3 minutes of the shower, works great. Definitely recommend this one.
If you like it and can afford it, why does others opinions matter?
If you can't afford it, well the stuff you can buy at target/Wal-Mart, or your local grocery store works just as well for a heck of a lot less money.
Absolutely nothing. I use a single bar of soap in a sisal bag for everything...
Even use it to hand-wash my clothes tbh
Same type of soap but different bar for the kitchen, and a further one for surfaces/cleaning and the bathroom sink...
I would genuinely consider leaving someone who haemorrhages money like that unless they were on 6 figures... and even then... WHY? I can go for a long weekend holiday for less than that...
It depends on how much disposable income you have, but were I'm from $240 is almost a monthly rent (for a very small apartment in a shitty part of town, but still...). I pay approximately 10$ for a 1L shampoo (I don't use conditioner)
LMAO, I pay $1.25 for an 18 oz of V05 clarifying shampoo, and another $1.25 each for a 32 oz Silkience hydrating shampoo and same brand hydrating conditioner from Dollar Tree. Anything more expensive than that...nope.
Holy fucking hell that is way too much. $50 is where you're going to hit diminishing returns fast with most skin and hair care products. There are almost certainly plenty of cheaper options that will work better for them. I spend $40 for 40oz (~1L) and most people think even that is nuts.
The luxury skin and hair care market is predatory.
Unless it comes from a pharmacy, I do not use any products I can't buy at Walmart.
I buy a shampoo/conditioner set, I think Herbal Essence, it's like $20 for two large bottles.
I spend $65 total on two 8,5oz bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I have fine hair so it usually lasts me about 6 months. Which when I do the math is exactly what you're paying, you're just buying bulk.
I’ve been using Fructis Curl Nourish shampoo and conditioner (separate products) ever since I started perming. Lasts me 2-3 months and I shower every day.
Here are my recommendations:
[1 gallon bottle of shampoo. ](https://a.co/d/6QcE9dz)
[1 gallon bottle of conditioner. ](https://a.co/d/0wg315K)
[1 gallon bottle of body wash. ](https://a.co/d/eYd66c9)
[1 gallon bottle of lotion. ](https://a.co/d/iW42BrM)
[1 gallon bottle of hand soap. ](https://a.co/d/hQgbAzL)
[Set of 2 16oz pump bottles. ](https://a.co/d/aAqO5HX)
This is just one of the scents and formulation options available from this company. All of them are sulfate and paraben free. The major benefit of using this stuff is that they'll last forever and they're only $22 for the gallon. Pump bottles are $9 for a set of 2 and they'll last a long time.
There are 2 more recommendations I'll give:
[Viking Balls Wash](https://a.co/d/3zhCQRd)
[Salicylic Acid Face Wash](https://a.co/d/8O2p39U)
The ball wash is a game changer. Those of us who are sexually active will know THAT smell of a less than clean dick and balls. Even if you send them into the shower that smell will still linger. Unless you have this. It's got menthol, vitamin B5, and activated charcoal. I know I'm sounding like an advertisement but I've been using this stuff for a while. I use it all up in my business. I'm cut but I still pull out what foreskin I have and clean all sides, then I get the rest of my D, nuts, grundle, hole, and crack. Since this has menthol, it's antibacterial. Another thing to note is that you should use it AFTER your face wash unless you want your eyes to burn. I don't kink shame.
I've been using this face wash and others like it from cera ve and I can't remember when I've last had a pimple. The stuff should also be sulfate and paraben free.
These recommendations are slightly different:
[Silicone body scrubber. ](https://a.co/d/0nUiwAu)
[Silicone Shampoo Brush ](https://a.co/d/ijaQgfr)
[Vibrating face and body brush with arm. ](https://a.co/d/7hRhePJ)
The first 2 are awesome. I just saw an ad for the vibrating brush and it looks cool. Everything else was from my order history.
If you go this route, you'll be getting good quality stuff and saving so much money compared to what you've got going on now. Anyone putting their face into your grundle will thank you.
Around $10-$12 for ~12oz usually Jason Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner.
Ill spend some money on personal care products but that seems absurd. It can’t be THAT good.
I use Kiehl’s amino acid shampoo and conditioner. £119.50 (about $150) for two 1 litre containers.
I’ve also recently started using L’Oréal Elvive nourishing shampoo on the first wash to add shine. Rinsing the conditioner out with cold (not chilly) water helps with this too.
Yes
What do you pay?
Like 10 dollars. I use Native I think.
I steal mine from hotels when I go on business trips.
WERK DIVA
Have you noticed they nail them down now? Plastic pump bottles are cheap in bulk on Amazon....

Ever tried finasteride and minoxidil? I’ve heard they can help with hair loss.
I’m on finasteride, trying to avoid minoxidil though just because once you start you gotta stay on it long term and it’s annoying to apply twice a day
True! And because they're generic, the prescriptions are cheaper than the shampoos.

Absolutely. I got two 1 liter from my salon for $75.

About $5.50 per bar of peppermint Dr Bonner soap. It washes my whole body and leaves a tingle. I turned so many guys on to it in the shower.
Now’s that’s an affiliate program in the making.

I buy the twin pack of H&S at Costco for like $12. Lasts about 6 months.
$30 for shampoo and conditioner
I’ve been using Fructis Curl Nourish shampoo and conditioner (separate products) ever since I started perming. Lasts me 2-3 months and I shower every day.
That’s a lot yes, I pay max $25 for both
50% of the time no shampoo and the other half I’ll use Pantene. Spending more than $10 sounds excessive when plain water is fine for daily showers
$8
My shampoo and conditioner are $26 and $28 respectively, and the containers are 250mL each
$8 for a similar volume. 250 for shampoo is absolutely unbelievably insane.

I buy DM brand from DM in Germany. It's around 0.90 Euro for 500ml.
Good holy crap. Just go to a normal store. Plenty of decent stuff there, and doesn’t cost anything near that.
$9.50 for 16 oz. I don't use conditioner.
$3.39 for 200ml Head and Shoulders
Around $10-$12 for ~12oz usually Jason Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner. Ill spend some money on personal care products but that seems absurd. It can’t be THAT good.
About $27 for System Biolage.
Whatever is on sale at Costco. lol.

Is it made of gold or diamond?
As a guy, you likely get your hair cut often. This expensive shampoo is a waste of money because you get the ends cut off so frequently.
That sounds crazy. What brand?
8 usd for dove that lasts me over a year
