I have restless leg syndrome and PLMD, which can wake me up every few hours. So I decided to get some of tomorrow’s housework done as a gift to future me. Now I’m going to browse Reddit aimlessly and if I haven’t fallen asleep in an hour have a puff of my medical cannabis which usually does the trick.
I started getting restless leg syndrome and was advised to start taking magnesium supplements. It worked straight off the bat. Worth a shot if you haven’t tried it.
I’ve tried everything - I’ve had it for 30 years. There are only two things that work for me. Strong opiates, or a combination of pramipexole and cannabis.
No, I pushed their leg with my foot, jiggled their shoulder, made them roll over, and gave up after an hour. I considered sleeping in the spare room but it's cold in there. Now I'm hungry and tossing up getting up and eating something or hunkering down and willing sleep to come.

Insomnia since I was about 16...I'm now 46. I'm tired.
How many hours do you get a night? Are you able to be productive? Or just tired and zombie?
4-5. Sometimes. Yes. Or 2-3 like last night....
Just normal insomnia
Aww that sucks Im sure!
Welcome to the party pal
Haha glowsticks and beers all round
My 6 month old is finally sleeping through the night.... so naturally I can't sleep fml
My kid is 2 and only slept through maybe 4 times so far... ðŸ˜
I'm wishing you as much sleep as possible!Â
Don't worry, in a couple of years time you can spend 1 hour trying to get them to sleep at 7pm because some jerk let them nap
It is now 2.30 in WA I'm sitting in a chair with my 8 month old praying to God he keeps this bottle down, it sucks when kids are sick
Insomnia. Menopause sucks.
Offft.. Poor lady! So many insomniacs here. Do you get much sleep at all?
Around 2-3 hrs a night. I miss sleep. I love sleep. It’s my favourite thing to do.
No naps during the day? Is it just a menopause thing or did you suffer before?
No time to nap during the day, unfortunately. It’s definitely a menopause thing. Before menopause I could sleep anywhere anytime
First day of a ten-day break. Always like to kick time off, with an all-nighter.
Party time?
Not these days, my recovery game is way too long, I managed to binge a season of Ted Lasso

I’m so sorry to hear that.
I blame the Vietnamese coffee I had at dinner time. Strong stuff.
Ohhh yeah. Where from? Any good? Condensed milk situation?
From the Vietnamese restaurant I ate at. Yes it had condensed milk.
Night shift
Snoring spouse. Now I'm wide awake on reddit and they're finally quiet.
Hahaha Murphy's law! Did you pinch thier nose?

Lol. My hubby sounds like a freight train. I just hope that when I can finally fall asleep, he will not be snoring.
Have you heard about delayed phase sleep disorder? I helped mine with melatonin
I went to sleep at 1:30 am, but that's just my normal "up late playing games" thing.
Frequent nightmares.
