That's how I feel when I see anyone who's able to interact with what are normally wild animals like wombats or platypuses or any other creatures my heart wants to reach out and cuddle.
I would prefer the animals to remain wild and somewhat cautious of humans as not all humans have the best intentions towards animals. To be able to interact with them to some extent would be a dream come true for me. At the same time, I can be realistic and give animals their space.
I'm fond of chonky animals. Long as they are still healthy while being a lil bit chonk.

Whenever I approach an animal & get rejected, I feel hurt & disappointed. I judge myself & I start to question my own character; sifting for a reason or explanation regarding my failure. I need to tell myself to stop, lest it develops into an on-site existential crisis & nervous breakdown.
I have a relative visiting rn for the holidays.. he’s always making quips about my quasi-chonky shar pei/husky/ mastiff mix. She’s a bit overweight, a lot of it is an illusion thanks to her folds & loose skin.
I absolutely adore the way my elder blossom looks😍 nothing wrong with the sofa bagel, that man needs to lay off the sweet chonk & shut it!

This wombat has probably grown up around humans in a rehab situation. Most wombats are grumpy and will fuck you up if you get too close. It is possible to share a yard with one if a wombat burrows into it, or under your house, as long as you understand that’s the wombat’s yard now.
I was curious if they raised it. I read a few times they aren't very partial to humans and even if raised as a pet they eventually turn on them. I don't know how much of that is true or false since I've never even seen one outside of the internet.
I love that clip so much, it's honestly one of the best things I've ever seen.
