I am a vet. I have lost track of the amount of staples I have put in sight hounds.
The injuries always look dreadful, although often easy to fix, and these dude get old covered in scars.
Bloody love them though. They run at only 2 speeds: "gotta go fast" and "ran out of battery"
is it the same as using an office stapler? just asking because I got my head stapled two weeks ago and can't stop imganining my surgeon stapling away at my head, dropping the empty stapler and asking the nurse for a new magazine like in an older action movie, reloading his stapler and keep stapling my noggin
Had two Italian greyhounds in the past and can confirm they’re way more accident prone. So are whippets and greyhounds too. Used to have to put post its on my big bay windows so they wouldn’t lock onto a bird and dive through a closed window…again.
They’re also pretty snuggly but they’re so damn bony lol
Just thin and lightly colored skin with sunlight hitting it at the right angle. Many dogs have similarly thin skin on their legs but they have more fur
They are known for having “glass legs.” I worked really hard with my guy to make his legs really strong. It worked, but I was still always afraid he would break a leg and seeing through his legs didn’t help my anxiety.

Aww
Corgi butts are hilarious
*I'm pure speed*
Woahhh that’s cool
lol eww
That breed is hard to have due to the likely hood of it getting hurt due to the lack of fat and being more boney. So yeh it’s cool but accident prone.

I’m not a vet, but if it’s the same one they use for humans: pretty much

They are so soft too.
What my ankle surgeon said to me.
That your accident prone?
Yeah pretty much word for word what you said.
Speed Boost fully charged 😁
So why is that this way? Is he injured or his this breed known for see through legs?
Just thin and lightly colored skin with sunlight hitting it at the right angle. Many dogs have similarly thin skin on their legs but they have more fur
Your ears do the same thing. Are you injured or is your breed known for see-through ears?
Does he have to wear a coat when it's cold outside?
Yes. They are always cold and will steal all of your blankets and use you, other dogs and other pets to keep warm.

What breed is that?
Italian greyhound I believe.
Looks a little big for an Iggy, might be a whippet or a mix of the two. But definitely a good dog. Always a good dog.
Whippet. Thats what I was thinking. IGs are definitely much smaller.
I believe it’s a Good Boy.

haha, I came here to say that is for sure real life Santa's Little Helper :)
Looks like a pointer. very tall very slim and exceptionally fast runners.
Pointers have larger ears. This really looks like an Italian greyhound.
Whippet - larger than Italian greyhound
Ahh yes could be. Didn't notice the ear size, good find :)
i am uncomfortable. put some socks on that boy
r/mildlyinteresting
What the shit that’s awesome
greyhounds are one of the freakiest yet adorable breed out there.
Noodle horse!
Poke it
I wouldn't be *too* surprised to learn that greyhounds are actually aliens.
Pterodactyl legs
Crack that Whip!
Anyone else find it wild that flesh and skin is transparent if the light is strong enough?
That looks creepy but cool 😎
