Adorable ❤️

Generalnussiance

Thank you

PsychoticSpinster

You eat meat?

Generalnussiance

Not a meat cow. She is a dairy

FairBaker315

She is adorable! Sounds like she's set up for a good life. Scratch behind her ears for me, every cow I've ever known liked that.

Generalnussiance

She has a long life of pampering ahead of her

PsychoticSpinster

This really would be cute. If she wasn’t designated to a life of involuntary slavery; of breeding, milking and slaughter once she no longer produces milk. Edit: this post would be cute if it came from a temple in India. Here? It’s just meat.

Generalnussiance

lol except she isn’t. I’m on a homestead. You should look up the breed. She is a heritage Holstein. They naturally throw that much milk, and if their utters aren’t drained they get mastitis and die. Her life is just raising calfs and a 10 min milking to make sure she is drained so she doesn’t get sick, and roaming 100 acres getting treats and pets. I’m not a dairy farmer, she is the only dairy cow I have. And she is awfully spoiled. But if you don’t like it that’s your opinion to have.

eggoed

There are some unnecessary, weirdly grim comments on this post rn but I think it’ll shake out soon. Just wanna say you sound like a great cow caretaker (I wanted to write cowtaker but that also sounded grim lol) and Winnona sounds like she has a great life to look forward to. Cheers to you both.

Generalnussiance

In fact she is still a baby and has never been milked

Impressive-Arm2563

Man, shut the f up.

volantredx

What do you think a cow would do in the wild if not breed, eat, produce milk, then die and get eaten when they're old and infirm? Like are you upset the cow can't follow her dreams to star on Broadway?

Buttersmom2023

You really meant when you put psychotic in your name.. this is also probably why you’re a spinster 🫠😭

Generalnussiance

😂

davethemacguy

It’s not a meat cow, nor are “out of age” milk cows typically slaughtered for meat. Your ignorance is showing. Try talking to an actual farmer once in your life.
