I got a cracked APK for the official app with no ads. If I ever need to use Reddit to answer a question I'll go on there but otherwise fuck u/Spez. Baconreader *was* Reddit.
Ahem ... Where did you find the cracked APK if you don't mind me asking? You can PM me.
Was a Baconreader user for almost a decade now. Sad day for all of us (I imagine it's the same for the RIF, Apollo, etc.)
/u/kadkadkad - I don't know about the errors, but the logout function is accessed by clicking your avatar in the upper right, tapping the down arrow next to your user name in the vertical menu strip that appears. After clicking that arrow, a list of the accounts you're logged into will appear and they will each have a door icon next to them on the right. Click on that for the account you want logged out, and then it will give you the option.
It's not as intuitive as I would like, but I have seen worse too.
For long drawn out processes, or things that have a silly amount of steps. Friends and I used to quote this section of Monty Python to each other.
The specific part I was quoting is towards the end of the clip.

Agree, I will miss the convenience of Bacon Reader and will likely stop viewing reddit on my mobile...
No baconreader= no reddit for me.

Got it! I should have figured MP.
It's ridiculous how deep they buried that when so many users switch between multiple accounts frequently.
Switching between accounts is 3 touches. Once you know it's there, it's super easy. 🤷♂️
This. 100%.
