That whole plotline was just unbelievably awful. The writers were really scraping the bottom of the barrel with that one. The massive dip in quality near the end of the show is staggering.
It’s even more staggering that the last few episodes are arguably some of the best in the series and not just because of the like “ending the show” nostalgia. They’re genuinely really excellently written.
It’s like they had the series finale in the freezer for 4 years when they were in their prime and just kept being in scriptwriting purgatory in between lol.
Yep. Totally stopped watching after Michael left. I was obsessed with the show and cried when he left cuz I was really young when I watched it. Still can’t bring myself to finish it. There’s a charm in the early seasons where it felt real. It felt like an actual office where these shenanigans could actually happen and the conflicts were all realistic. It felt relatable. Towards the end they just get too over the top with it and it becomes almost fictional.
You’re really missing out imo, I’m not gonna say they’re great seasons but I actually find it refreshing to see everyone kinda fall apart and then eventually bring it all back around.
Plus you get to love and then completely hate Andy so that’s a nice part of the end
Season 9 isn’t that good but I really enjoy season 8. Robert California is so mysterious and I think he was a good addition. I’m not saying it’s as good as the show in its prime but in my opinion S8 isn’t as bad as people say it is
Micheal leaves, theees a couple terrible season, then the last one or two I remember being pretty decent again? I haven’t watched post Michael season in a minute tho.
Pam and Jim are both awful people. But so is Dwight. Best to ignore all the shit they’ve done and pretend to go along with the finale of everyone being great
I kinda disagree but respectfully. They tried to make him *look* like an ass, but honestly, he was doing his job, protecting the property and following procedure to make sure the boat was insured in transit to the buyer. He was rude, but because Andy was causing him trouble, in breach of contract, and should not have been in his way in the first place. I think Andy was being an ass and this guy was a frustrated seaman just trying to do his job and probably tired of the Bernard family.
I’d argue the worst person on the show was Andy. Character showed no growth until they tried to quickly retcon him to grow up in the finale, and if anything he regressed and became worse and worse as the show went on.
In this very episode it’s Andy that is wrong in this situation, not the guy pictured.
Santino ever talk about his hair transplants? I ask because I did but I’m like Rogan now. Bald head with a stupid happy face scare on the back of my head. His looks great so I wonder if he’s ever talked about it
Seeing some old clips of him like here and on punked, Santino really was a porker back then, he’s done a excellent job on losing + keeping off the weight
What do you expect?! She’s an old Korean woman with no acting experience!
Bless you for this.
I'm a Bobby modda, I'm Bobby mum
Casuals
Small part, but he was so good at being annoying that it was really memorable. Badass sweater too. Also, cool hairstyle
That hairstyle was to cover up his balding. He has gotten a transplant since then. Source: Am balding man who has employed that same hairstyle.
He never talked about the transplant lol but he for sure got one lol
i think bobby's alluded it to it on some very early episodes, mentioning something along the lines of a thing they can't talk about.
I know. Can't he grow it longer now? His current haircut is very dorky, this one is way cooler.
Seriously he should buzz it if he's not styling it and wears hats all the time anyway
I actually came here to comment on the sweater glad I'm not the only one that likes it 😅
I think in comparison to how insufferable Andy was in the last couple seasons, Mr Santino was completely justified.
I thought the worst character was the sound guy Pam was boarderlkne having an affair with . Truthfully though I had no idea this was Andrew Santino .

Yea this is my vote for sure
You can say that again
Yea this is my vote for sure
Serves Jim right after he basically did that to Pam's first boyfriend. Jim is the worst person on that show.
Pam and Jim are both awful people. But so is Dwight. Best to ignore all the shit they’ve done and pretend to go along with the finale of everyone being great
Santino really had the quietest hair comeback of the century. Boi looking thin on top in this.
Celebs often get procedures. Ryan Reynolds, Jeremy Piven, Elon Musk, and others used to have a lot of thinning.
Hair tits
He got plugs and veneers. His teeth are noticeably different from his earlier gigs on this show and the league
Couldn’t give two shits either way but no way in hell he has veneers.
Yeah, his teeth are definitely au natural
He was in the League?? I watched that years before I knew who he was, huh!
Phyllis and Bob literally killed someone so I'm gonna go with them being the worst
Hahaha wait what?! Can you refresh me on that? I feel like I remember that part but it’s fuzzy
It's actually from a deleted scene so I guess it's not necessarily canon to the show but it's good enough for me https://youtu.be/KxhDDAh3AuM
😂 that’s hilarious honestly, thanks for sharing
yeah that's really funny "ostrich in a soccer uniform" but seriously if Bob Vance was Scranton Strangler, that would have been an amazing arc
He was in the office?
Neither Phyllis nor Sweater Guy are the worst. It's Hannah Smoteridge-Barr. Seriously
Cheeto looking oily as fuck in that picture, a walking pimple.
Ed Sheeran looks different
Pete/Plop was the worst
Saw this scene before I knew Tito Andrew bc he looked like any other guy 😂
Look at da hairline on this Chi town simp.
In what way is this a stray? Feels pretty direct

I mean, he was dealing with Andy. And in comparison Bobby just did so well as Asian Jim. Probably his best work.

Yea of the core cast Andy was the worse.
Yeah I want to smack his hand so bad
The character they turned Andy into was the worst
I must have subconsciously blacked out all seasons post the 🐐Micheal Scott.
Idk man, something happens to that boat this guy would most definitely lose his job
Nope. He was doing what was right for him. The correct answer is the couple who wouldn’t move for Dwight at Asian hooters. Not
Before plugs
Santino ever talk about his hair transplants? I ask because I did but I’m like Rogan now. Bald head with a stupid happy face scare on the back of my head. His looks great so I wonder if he’s ever talked about it
Yo fuck this guy!
Shout out to Sconesy Cider, wherever you are. (Probably scamming on some free refreshments)
Mic guy still worse
Who’s funnier him or Bert?
Stanley routinely cheated on his wife lmfao and the guy doing his job is the worst
Seeing some old clips of him like here and on punked, Santino really was a porker back then, he’s done a excellent job on losing + keeping off the weight
Office, real life. Not many places where this guy isn’t fucking awful. His hair gave up on him. We should too
Harsh but accurate.
Holly shit is that rly Andrew???
Santino is the walmart brand version of Scott Grimes
Who’s Scott Grimes?
The k-mart blue light special Andrew Santino
I thought the light was blue.
Let me fix that, I’m Canadian excuse my impairment 🙏
u/takedownmorecorn is scott grimes
Malarkey from Band of Brothers is probably what he’s best known for. Look him up though, this guys getting downvoted to hell but he’s on to something
