The thing will happen.

Kahzaki

Nah, it's a -50/50 chance.

Bobson-_Dugnutt2

It is effectively 2/2.

le_meme_kings

Which is effectively 1/1

McHoff

2 in 2 is the same as 3 in 2 is the same as 4 in 2 and so on. As long as the first number is equal to or greater than the second number, the event is guaranteed to happen.

penjamin_button

You exit the Matrix. Be careful, there's no going back.

annormalplayer

Any probability above 100% still counts as 100%

Kneef

Now get out there and give 110%, champ.

Invincible-Nuke

it will not happen twice iirc

TeaKingMac

Thanks for answering the unspoken question

Bircka

It's just 100% it doesn't matter if it says 25 out of 2 chance or 2 out of 2 chance it will happen every time.

Head_Snapsz

It happens once.

HotcakeNinja

I think this is what the question is really getting at. It'd be nice if 200% meant it triggered twice.

rug1998

200% chance it will happen

RulerD

Either yes or yes

therealphilbo2530

With Space Joker being the way it is I still don't trust it.

Snuvvy_D

At 8 in 4 chance, maybe it will finally trigger once every 4 hands

jennifer11071

You should buy hallucination!

Jerimatic

Nope!

VanDerWallas

LocalThunk will come and suck you off

TheKvothe96

Patch notes: i added 37 ifs to fix this interaction ;)

The next few things happen; adding what has been posted before: - Anything about 100% is still a 100%. You can argue stocks grew 385% overnight. This is not the case, probability, in extremely simple terms, does not care about anything about 100%. If it will happen, it WILL happen. - Does not mean it’ll happen twice or more. Anything above 100% means it will happen every time, NOT many times. Even if this is effectively a 200%. The main reason why I think it specifically appears as something above 100%: - Lucky cards have distinct probabilities for the additional mult, and the +$20. - One Oops bumps the possibility of the multiplier. - Two Oops(es?) make the multiplier a fact. - Three Oopses makes the Mult AND $20 to be given (if retrigger is possible) - 4 Oopses make both the multiplier and $20 to be given NO MATTER WHAT (again, if retriggers are possible). Do NOT quote me on the retriggers part. However, iirc, both rewards cannot be granted by the lucky card being played once. Edit: OP, mi lengua materna es español. Si quieres que te dé más información sobre el juego y demás, déjamelo saber y te mandaré un DM🫡.

ky0kulll

You can have both 20 Mult and $20 in one lucky trigger

ben_sphynx

Some systems allow percentages of something happening over 100% to allow that thing to happen multiple times. How it works is very much about the system implementing it, so it is a valid question as to what Balatro does.
