As a Padres fan, the most notable thing about Brett Sullivan is that he uses the Kurt Angle walkout music and a sizable chunk of Petco chants "YOU SUCK!" as he comes up to bat.

This is based more on the historical stigma of this team since they play in one of the most pitcher friendly parks in baseball and haven’t had big power hitting names until recently compared to other teams throughout franchise history
Yeah the offense has been really good this year which is kind of surprising and at first it seemed to be good only on the road, but it looks like they’re hitting their stride at home too. Hopefully, this keeps up even with injuries and the pitching is the main concern to address in the deadline
We have the highest batting avg in the league yes but we've also been horrifically unclutch in certain stretches. During that 9 game road losing streak for example I think we were averaging like 2 runs. Same thing when we started off bad at home too.
My wife is my only witness to this, but before his first AB today, I said "Sully is going yard today." I went to tell her, and she said "I don't remember that."
I’m worried teams are catching on to pitching coach Andrew Baileys approach, which was getting great results early in the season but is crashing back to earth.

I think at this point last year we were all bitching about the “hitting coaches” and how we just could not score runs lol
Lol it was this time 2 weeks ago when we were in the midst of losing 9 road games in a row
Vic Rodriguez, American baseball coach.
A guy I've never heard of homering off of a guy I've never heard of
I believe it’s the pitcher’s debut.
having to debut against a team that just scored 7 runs against one of the best pitchers in the AL this year can't be fun

He also played in the WBC for Italy

The well-known offensive powerhouse, The San Diego Padres
You say that but we've been good offensively all year. A 5 game skid will make you think we never had it for sure

This is what playing the Nationals does to a team. Since our first game with them, we've scored 7, 9, 8, 9, and 10+
Keibert Ruiz woke a monster I fear
When will catchers learn to stop talking shit about or to Profar
Never, I hope.

The padresing we deserve

I believe you bro.
97.9 mph, 28^(o), 359 ft, 28/30 ballparks, 1^(st) homer of the year Sullivan says it’s his turn as the third string backup catcher
Sully is going to be drinking Sam Adams and listening to Dropkick Murphys tonight
