SmarmyClownPie

Name any Beatles song and I'll say that it contains my favorite backup vocals.

Yesterday

SmarmyClownPie

The absence makes it great. Same with For No One and Julia.

[You Never Give Me Your Money](https://youtu.be/zbE_xiPe85s?si=7SvrjSG4NYYXa-uq) [Real Love](https://youtu.be/F_JidQVJGts?si=cZUIN5_rPbldmDj0)

RingoHendrix220

So glad to see Real Love getting appreciation as a genuine Beatles track.

Grouchy_Flamingo_750

she's so heavy, dear prudence's high "ahhh"s

SnooTangerines4659

You’re Going to Lose That Girl

Butteryomelette17_9

Nowhere Man

rjr017

Yeah the backup ooh-la-la-las on the chorus are so great!!!

[deleted]

Octopus’s Garden. It’s so happy

DavoTB

In addition to those mentioned, enjoy “This Boy,” and “Yes It Is.”

AJray15

I find myself singing along more with George and Paul more than John on Help

Patrick_ml_isoo

"To Know Her Is To Love Her" from Live at the BBC. So lovely, delicate and well, harmonious.

yogaIsDank

The little harmonies on “Here, There, and Everywhere” are very nice.

tcmasterson

They're all incredible, but my the first thought is "Here, There and Everywhere". The newest remastered version is amazingly clear too. Beautiful.

applejam101

This might be odd, but I love the background vocals on Revolution 1.

tevia1015

Any song on HELP! that has them. Usually when they key change in the "middle eight".

Weekly-Fee-2775

Tell Me What you see and I need you are some of my favorites. I also love Paul and George on Twist and Shout as well as whenever John does back-ups for Ringo like With A Little Help From My Friends and What Goes on

Melcrys29

No Reply.

TypeOpieNegative

Hello Goodbye

RingoHendrix220

But I may mean no I can stay but it's time to go.

DSanctiArts

the "bawm-shoo-pee-do-wop" from revolution :D

Proud2BaBarbie

Hey Jude is really good backup harmonies and Im not even talking about the Na-Na-Na-Na part

beatlesgigi

Yeah, hey jude is really good!

mandiblesofdoom

Ah, the night before or Yes Yes you're gonna lose that girl

spacemythics

baby it's you, do you want to know a secret, because (though are any vocals on because really backups? debatable, i'd lean toward no), i want you, GIRL!!!

RingoHendrix220

Maybe not the best but the backing vocals in Free As A Bird and Real Love are super underrated. Especially in George's majestic FAAB solo, that slide and those harmonies....

beatlesgigi

I agree with the happiness is a warm gun because I like the bang bang shoot shoot!

CzechGSD

So many but I’ll say You’re Gonna Lose That Girl.

CallMeJeeJ

Ticket to Ride is my go-to answer for this question. The interval that Paul and John sing is so great

AskMeGermanStuff

“Can’t get no worse!”

commiedad

Norwegian wood when Paul chimes in

Some-Glove-3629

Paperback Writer. Absolutely my favourite.

NaturalHovercraft264

I like the WOAH-OHs on I'm happy just to dance with you

AmphibianOk3507

Because

Next_Box_593

i always look forward to hearing mccartney’s backing sections in The Ballad of John and Yoko, particularly the “the way things are going, you’re gone crucify me.” he just delivers it in such a satisfying cadence so unique to the lennon’s vocal melody and they blend together beautifully

Robbinewhite

Help

[deleted]

Paul's backing vocals on And Your Bird Can Sing.

shmamanda

Eleanor Rigby

Meefus

Yes It Is

belfman

Hello Goodbye. Can't remember where I heard this but I read a music reviewer that said when people say a piece of music is "Beatlesesque", they're specifically thinking of Hello Goodbye. And the reason for that, I think, is the piano and the backing vocals. Nothing more Beatles-y (well, McCartney specifically) than that.

Camel-Guilty

Oh darling

Le_Zouave

Frère Jacques in Paperback Writer.

Ganjamazing

You won’t see me always comes to mind. So awesome!

MooseManagainlmao

Help! or The Night Before

QuietFire451

You’re Gonna Lose That Girl or Help
