If you don't have some kind of pass keep your eye on the festival website and make sure you know when tickets go on sale for the showings you want to see. It's competitive and a pain to get publicly available tickets. Usually you have to be on the festival website refreshing at 10am a few days before the movie. But certain tickets are available before the start of the festival. It's a little random.

I do have the Festival Accreditation, but I’m still not sure how it works out. Thanks for the info!

Also sent you a message, I could also possibly meet up. I'd love to hear about your films, I'm a writer.

hypermodernist2000

It's not a pain quite easy. Which types of films you want to watch? Competition or all except competition. If we find a group of people who don't have the press xyz pass we can just buy group tickets and cut the lines at cues and the hassle of online tickets. What do you say? I've done this for a few years!

How do you do that? In my experience most films have tickets that go on sale 2-3 days in advance at 10am. You have to be online at 10am to buy tickets, the most desirable films sell out in minutes. Or even Under a minute. And you can only buy up to 2 tickets per person, so you can't buy for a group. There is a certain category of films, I can't remember the name, where tickets for the entire festival become available before the festival start. And those are very easy to get tickets to. But I'd really like to hear the specifics of your solution because I've never heard anyone tell any other experience besides refreshing the website at 10am to try to buy.

on their website you can register and create a calendar with your favorite screenings, I've found this feature pretty handy! and as others said, the tickets are sold out pretty fast

TheLonerNextDoor

how did you find this calendar? I don't see any such option :/

_juan_carlos_

I think it is in a calendar of your favourites. At least last year it was available.

Other-Elevator3593

Is it like london film festival where its a whole month featuring films?

samirsfilm

Yes, lots of films , shorts , and documentaries

hypermodernist2000

Lots of films but I'd say more accessible than Venice and London

For sure!

Also there, as an actress and writer, would love to team up :) And as far as I got it, with the accreditation you can buy the tickets earlier, but still don’t know about the rest 🫤
