Love ever since OG Gossip Girl era but I can’t have this conversation in July lol The ones that are just over the knee (like SW 50/50) are very versatile and I wear them all winter/fall with dresses/skirts from mini to midi, or tights or skinny pants tucked in. Never really wanted to buy actual thigh high boots, they just seem like a pain to get on/off and take up a ton of room in an apartment for something not super versatile.

Haunteddoll28

I am very pro thigh high boots and am currently looking for a pair that fit my style. I'd style them with some sexy tights (I prefer a small fishnet) and either shorts/short skirt or with a full length skirt with a thigh high slit. If you're going to wear boots that high you may as well show them off!

pm_me_hedgehogs

They look hot but my fat ass could never

Flipper717

As a person who was born genetically predisposed to muscular calves, I feel your pain.

angelicribbon

I feel you. My calves get enormous just from walking and get muscle definition with little effort. I never really try to wear boots at all, but thankfully living in Florida i don’t really need to lol

urdreamluv

I’m so happy to see love for knee/thigh-high boots 🥹 last fall, I noticed I was the only one in my friend group who would wear them. I thought society has moved on from them

lovescarats

Love Stuart Weizmann’s over a pair of dark jeans in the winter with a heavily textured cowl neck.

Smurfblossom

I'd have a pair if any were made to fit correctly and be walkable. Generally I love Clarks for boots, but I don't think they've ever made this style.

keeta56

I just ordered some knee high Clark's on eBay and I'm hoping they're tall on me because I'm short 😂

GunstarHeroine

I absolutely love suede block heel thigh high boots with opaque tights and a oversized woollen sweater minidress - it tones the whole look down and makes your legs look 10 miles high. Obviously not a summer look though!

lilabeen

I have a block heel patent leather pair from Khaite and like to style them with demure midi dresses for contrast - I think that’s key with such an overtly sexy piece. To another commenter, they are misery to get on and off though. I went to a dinner party last year wearing them and everyone was taking their shoes off…I had to tell the host I was keeping mine on, lol

twittery

I’m still wearing all of mine! Agree that the 50/50 is a mini version that will likely withstand the trends of time. I think styling is what keeps them relevant - not sure they’d look current over leggings or skinny jeans right now, but I love them with mini skirts. ETA: even though you can’t see all of them, I also think they look awesome with longer skirts so there’s no telling where the skirt ends and the boot begins. Bonus points for a daring slit.

miletharil

I like them on other women, but I've never found a way to make them look good with any of my outfits. Knee-highs are about as high as I go.

curiouslywanting

I like it with a belted turtleneck dress (with or without sleeves)

weebwatching

I think they’re sexy af, one of the sexiest looks a woman can wear, really. I had a pair that looked just like these for a few winters. I would wear them with minidresses and a cream colored faux fur coat on nights out. I’ll probably be getting a charcoal colored pair this winter if I can find some I like. The one downside is that the ties on the back would come undone a lot and would swish around while walking which was kind of annoying. But the ties were my favorite part visually too so I put up with it. https://preview.redd.it/6dp0roedzaad1.jpeg?width=803&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ed3cbf311a2dbaabda59b4cd922315200dd0c90

Very sexy but you gotta feel like that bitch to wear them. You will get stared at like you're Julia Roberts in pretty woman. I style my thigh-highs with a simple cotton dress in the summer and skinny jeans and a turtleneck in the winter.

thenfacetoface

I style mine with circle mini dresses. I also prefer a more structured OTK boot. See below. https://preview.redd.it/f1ppxwhfjbad1.jpeg?width=2034&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2adbbb7d89e1804c6c05bb387211cb95390595b8

RLS1822

I love them with oversized mens shirts especially white ones. I can’t get enough of these!!!!

evil_ot_erised

[I have a pair — black suede with a low heel.](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/191684527888486097/) In cooler months, I wear them over faded black skinny jeans with a burnout tee or long sleeve henley and a black leather jacket. I will also style them with a plain black t-shirt dress, a big a slouchy leather bag, and some layered necklaces.

hodie6404

I can't say I'm in the over the knee/thigh high boot trend but I will always love my knee high boots and wear them all the time in the winter.

justasianenough

Honestly I will wear my over the knee boots (1.5” heel) on any nice day below 80 degrees. They’re comfy, they make casual outfits look dressy without wearing real heels, I don’t have to shave my lower legs, and I just generally like them. I have a few pairs in different colors and some are suede and some are flat leather.

birdstrom

At my impressive 5’0 stature, I unfortunately have to just say no to high boots

Lady-Kat1969

Love the look, but I find them incredibly uncomfortable so I don’t wear them.

blahduckingblah

Love and have been a staple in my closet since 2004!
