Polarization reduces the glare on the water surface and helps you see objects a lot clearer. A good pair should be able to do this, category 3 polarization. I've got a few pairs, my Maui Jim's will definitely do this because they have a very strong polarization effect but not most of my other sunnies.
I wanna know what brand of polarized glasses do this. I've had a few pair and while they most definitely help its nothing to that degree...not even my Costas.

I live in Montana, and I couldn't tell you the number of times polarized lenses have saved me from attacks by rocky mountain crocs
