My own and my son's middle names are both, in different ways, examples.
I reckon they couldn't decide between Muffin and Cupcake, so they went with both.
I have a son on the way, and while my beloved didnât want to name him directly after her late father, she still wanted to honor him somehow. So our boyâs middle name is going to be Wolf, because the family nickname for her dad was âWolfyâ when he was growing up. Ronan Wolf.

If you put frosting on a muffin you do NOT get a cupcake. You get a ruined muffin!
The cake part of a cupcake is a different type of Dough and is baked differently.
The pastries may look superficially similar but there are important differences
A muffin has a firmer consistency and the mushroom head has to be an almost crunchy crust. This is why putting butter cream frosting on a muffin would ruin it because it would make that crust soggy.
A Cupcake on the other hand should develop very little crust and the consistency should be uniform soft and fluffy. Because if the cake part would be as firm and dense as a muffin you would have a very unpleasant and messy eating experience when you try to bite into it and to get topping, frosting and cake parts at the same time. Also a cupcake is not supposed to have an as pronounced mushroom shape as a Muffin, because that makes it harder to apply the butter cream topping consistently and in a pretty manner.
Also cupcakes are usually smaller than muffins. A cupcake is supposed to have a height most people would be able to fit between their teeth without unhinging their jaws. So you can get a bite of all layers at the same time without looking like a savage. Muffins on the other hand are supposed to be eaten on their own as a satisfying snack so they are usually twice as high.
But take the last part with a grain of salt as there are exceptions with very big cupcakes and mini muffins. Also it's not certain if that even applies in the bluey world as dogs obviously can open their jaws far wider.

I had a teacher in high school whose name was Jojean Jones. I initially felt bad for whatever kid had a parent who named them that, then learned she was married and Jones was her married name... so she chose it. Until one day we learned it was also her maiden name, so in actuality she was Jojean Jones Jones. We called her J Jones Squared when talking about her sometimes.
So real parents can be just as clueless when naming their kids. And...both names are totally Muffin.

Evan is a variant of John, James is a variation of Jacob, and I'm sure there are little boys names Jacob James or Evan John as well.
Susan means Lily but I wouldn't be surprised to meet a baby named Lily Susan. Margaret means pearl or daisy, and I could see a girl named Margaret Pearl or Margaret Daisy.
It wouldn't be my first choice, but it wouldn't be unheard of either.
