Ditto. Man I live in a reletively small NC city and I saw where they played the local in 1996. Was pretty amazed they stopped by. But this town used to get some great bands when I was not able to go to things. I was like 10 in 1996. Listened to blur back then too but had no idea about going concerts and shit at that point in my life. Wouldn’t have been able to go anyway obviously at that age. But I Was too busy going to see wrestling in any case.
March 27th 1991 at Lancashire Polytechnic in Preston they were promoting leisure and they were very raw but you could see with some polishing up they could be something
The Point Theatre, Dublin, 1995. My first big gig at 15 years old. Setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/blur/1995/point-theatre-dublin-ireland-3bd780e8.html
I had a great time, but it felt a little odd because I didn't know any of the other bands that played, and everybody so much younger than me 😬, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that almost everybody knew all the Blur songs.
December 1999 in Belfast during the Singles Tour. I remember being relieved it was a singles tour at the time rather than them promoting 13 because that album didn't click immediately with younger me, but now older me would have loved to go to one of the 13 gigs!
July 1995 supporting REM at Milton Keynes Bowl. I couldn't give less of a toss about REM, but it was my only opportunity to see the tour for Parklife. Seen them twice since then at Glastonbury in 2009 and in Blackpool in 2015.
Parklife tour: Sep 15, 1994 with Pulp, in Boston at the Venus de Milo. An amazing show! Still have my longsleeve green tee from that show
https://youtu.be/SKUOlZ9xuW0?si=stLb1XnEjnSw4B7b
a few months ago in Pomona at Fox Theater! honestly felt like the quintessential Blur experience after seeing what their Coachella sets were like (good but...yknow). Made some excellent friends who sang along to every word! The energy was unreal.
1997 front row at the V’97 festival in Chelmsford, headlining the Saturday night.
First and only time I’ve seen them live.
Rumour was that Damon was the person in the squirrel costume during Pavement’s set earlier that day, but I never saw that actually confirmed anywhere.
Also saw Damon when he performed Aries with Peter Hook at the PH & The Light show at Hammersmith last year.
Park life tour, Manchester GMex probably November or early December 1995. They were brilliant. Blew me away and i want s huge blur fan at that point. I saw Damon solo in Coventry a couple of years so when he did a second set of blur and gorillas songs solo on the piano. That was nice
Never have seen them live aside from on film (which doesn't really count)
I'm hoping they at least hit up Vancouver and I might be able to travel, but, like many bands it comes down to demographics and stuff like that. . . most just hit up Toronto and proclaim that they have toured Canada.
For me it was at Hull Ice Rink on the ‘Blur’ UK tour. Super Furry Animals and Warm Jets supported.
The vibe onstage was super toxic. Graham did not look like he wanted to be there. It was a great gig but a really dark/aggressive vibe.
2023 at the Primavera Sound (i think that was how was called‚ i have bad memory sorry) here in Chile!
The concert was great and they played two of my favorites songs
(Out of Time and Trimm Trabb)‚ the crowd was a little dead but i think everyone enjoys things on their own way.
November 26th 2023 at Primavera Sound Buenos Aires promoting The Ballad of Darren. I started loving the band two years before that and thought I was never in my life gonna see them live and boom, here they were. I also saw Slowdive and The Cure for the first time the day before, crazy.
1999 - was a weird time for them as I felt I'd missed the boat on their fame and buzz. They were sort of fizzling out in a way (or beginning to), they'd released 13 that year, but you felt music scene was moving on a bit. Gorillaz were about to happen, and Graham would leave a few years later.
I'd have loved to have seen them during their heyday of Britpop (my sister saw them in 1995 - I actually was in the car when my dad dropped her off with her friend at the venuie, and thought "what's all the fuss about this band?" but I was too young to get it).
They were cool though and I was in awe of Graham's guitar ability and thought Alex and Damon were cool af. Damon wore a pink Blur t shirt and mocked the crowd for not loving it saying "just cos you've (all) got no fucking fashion taste" - they played all their singles as it was a singles tour and he said before bang "we hate this one but we have to play it". It was my first proper gig, not a bad one to be honest!
1996 at The Cotton Club in Atlanta, GA. It was my only time until July 9th last year. I saw them at age 19, then took my 19 year old to see them last year.
1995 in manchester with super fury animals supporting. Was my first ever gig and easily one of my favs. Didn't think nearly 30 years later I'd still love there music and of seen them at a full wembley stadium!!
2003 in NYC, for the Think Tank tour. It really was fantastic. Of course we love Graham and wish he was there too, but the show was still so good. We had seen Gorillaz at the same venue the year before, for their first album.
I Never have and might never will
The *13* NYC show. Friend’s sister worked at a college radio show and kept the promo tickets for us.
I'm in the same boat. Last time they came they were Grahamless and I didn't have the money to travel.
But I Was too busy going to see wrestling in any case.
why
they might not tour in their area or anywhere closeby, happened to me i couldnt get to see blur last year unfortunately 🤷♀️
March 27th 1991 at Lancashire Polytechnic in Preston they were promoting leisure and they were very raw but you could see with some polishing up they could be something
October 1990 at the Princess Charlotte in Leicester promoting She's So High. They were drunk and chaotic and I loved it
Beat me! 12th June 1991 at the Town & Country Club, Kentish Town. I was already a full-on fan, so obviously thought they were amazing.
Cambridge Corn Exchange, October 23rd, 1991. Young audience. Lots of energy from the band.
Rollercoaster tour 1992 with Jesus and Mary Chain, Dinosaur Jr and My Bloody Valentine
I wish I was alive to see that
I saw that tour too. Whitley Bay Ice Rink. It was incredibly loud !!
2023 at Portugal but my mother saw them between 1999-2000 while she was pregnant with me so... u choose my first time!
Same here with The Cure! Such a cute thought💗
LOVE this!
this year in Pomona, CA
Same!
The Point Theatre, Dublin, 1995. My first big gig at 15 years old. Setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/blur/1995/point-theatre-dublin-ireland-3bd780e8.html
Last year at Way Out West in Gothenburg, Sweden. I was too broke to buy a ticket before.
I've always wanted to go to Way Out West, just never really had a good opportunity. How did you like it?
I had a great time, but it felt a little odd because I didn't know any of the other bands that played, and everybody so much younger than me 😬, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that almost everybody knew all the Blur songs.
I wanted to see them there, but had a trip planned to Seattle and Canada right there and then. Atleast I got to see them at WoW 11 years earlier.
December 1999 in Belfast during the Singles Tour. I remember being relieved it was a singles tour at the time rather than them promoting 13 because that album didn't click immediately with younger me, but now older me would have loved to go to one of the 13 gigs!
I was there too! My first proper gig, and I didnt know a mosh pit was thing - and panicked once it started! Lol
A great show in the Waterfront Hall. The certainly belted out the hits as my ears were ringing for days.
January 1997 promoting the self titled album
July 1994,Feile festival Ireland.

1999 at a festival
1997, radio station festival in San Francisco

:(
July 1995 supporting REM at Milton Keynes Bowl. I couldn't give less of a toss about REM, but it was my only opportunity to see the tour for Parklife. Seen them twice since then at Glastonbury in 2009 and in Blackpool in 2015.
2003 at Coachella. But my first time seeing them with Graham was 2009 at Hyde Park.
what was the Coachella show like (if you remember?)? Damon says he has no recollection of it.
I loved it, but definitely not as good as their shows with Graham. Damon was way less playful and silly than he has been since they reunited.
almost the same. 2003 in Manchester, then 2009 Hyde Park!
First and only time was Fox Theater Pomona, 2024
1993 Irving Plaza NYC. They played to an audience of about 20.
was that the one where Damon climbed all over the ceiling and fell onto the record exec's lap?
December 1999, Wembley Arena. Only time.
1997 at Sudoeste Festival, Portugal
And also last year in Lisbon Kalorama
2013, Quilmes Rock Argentina
June 1997 - Philadelphia (Blur tour)
I was there! 👋🏻
My first and only time was October 23, 2015 at Madison Square Garden, a very momentous day.
Mile End 1995
Way Out West, Gothenburg, Sweden 2012. Good shit. Damon threw water at me (well, in my direction, but I was hit).
Parklife tour: Sep 15, 1994 with Pulp, in Boston at the Venus de Milo. An amazing show! Still have my longsleeve green tee from that show https://youtu.be/SKUOlZ9xuW0?si=stLb1XnEjnSw4B7b
Lucky! I really wanted to go to that one, but was away at school. A friend of mine went and said it was amazing.
I was there too!
We were all so young! Were you visiting from Belgium at the time or did you move there later?
Im originally from there and moved to Belgium this century.
a few months ago in Pomona at Fox Theater! honestly felt like the quintessential Blur experience after seeing what their Coachella sets were like (good but...yknow). Made some excellent friends who sang along to every word! The energy was unreal.

And not in California cuz that’s on the other side of the fuckin country
2003 in NYC, for the Think Tank tour. It really was fantastic. Of course we love Graham and wish he was there too, but the show was still so good. We had seen Gorillaz at the same venue the year before, for their first album.
