For what time period? I'm at 7 for the year.
Edit: I just checked out that sub. I see it's brand new and you've started it yourself. What kind of sub are you hoping it could grow into? BGStats is pretty individual so I struggle to see it generate much conversation. Most subs I've seen for apps are run by the app's team.
True, and I’d hope that the team would jump in and take it over! I’m hoping to see more statistics, guides, recommendations, and overall engagement with the BG_Stats app that many already enjoy, as well as just board games statistics in general.
Thanks for answering and best of luck with it! One suggestion I have would be to just be careful that it doesn't descend into a "who has played more than who" sub. I feel like that kind of showboaty kind of comparison dominating the sub might be difficult to avoid but it'd also stifle meaningful conversation really quick.
I've been tracking since, I think, 2020.
My all-time index is 19 right now. It'll be 20 after I get one more play of either Beyond the Sun, Tigris & Euphrates, Yokai Septet, or Azul.
For 2024 only, I'm at 6 so far.
1. Heat
2. Aquamarine
3. Cascadia
4. Sky Team
5. Hive
6. Sea Salt & Paper
7. Kingdom Builder
8. Point City
9. King Domino
One more game of Point City, Kingdomino and MLEM each will put me to 10!
I'm at 23 - Battlestar Galactica, The Resistance, Power Grid, Kingdom Builder, Terraforming Mars, For Sale, 7 Wonders, Escalation, Heat Pedal to the Medal, Automobile, High Society, Dominion, Empire Builder, Felicity The Cat In The Sack, Alea Iacta Est, Pandemic, Shadow Hunters, Zombie Dice, Boxcars, Love Letter, TransAmerica, Imperial 2030, and a 3-way tie at 23 for The Castles of Burgundy, Ra and Ticket to Ride.
I'm at 17, this is 6 years of tracking. The real index is probably 4 or 5 higher as there's a few games I played repeatedly before I started tracking in 2018. I think people need to play their games more times...
Spirit Island, Root, Aeon's End, Gloomhaven, Oath, Nusfjord, Pax Pamir 2e, Innovation, Codenames, The Crew, 7th Continent, Onirim, Hive, Arkham Horror LCG, Journeys In Middle-Earth, Lord Of The Rings LCG, Marvel Champions LCG.
Oh man. I was wondering what you are talking about since i dont have BG stats. A little google and now i know my H index is 8.
My games: Cascadia, Sea Salt & Paper, Everdell, Dorfromantik, Kitchen Rush, Ark Nova, Spicy, Patchwork
I'm probably around 26, but this includes BGA and other digital games like the PC version of Spirit Island.
Doesn't include classic cards games like Euchre and Rook or Go Fish, or classic board games like Monopoly, Sorry, or Mickey Mouse Yahtzee

Totally agree, call me an optimist 😅
H index for all time - 40. Tracking plays since 2007.
That’s crazy
Having a gaming group that played daily at lunch at work for a few years helped. I have 8 games over a hundred plays each.

Not on the BG Stats, but mine is currently 8. They're almost all small or BGA games.

Mine’s 33.
Crazy, that all time?
Yeah, did you mean in a shorter time period?
No, just curious if there were any other impressive ones you had, like a hot year
Best year was 2017, 1212 plays, h-index 15. Dropped off a lot in recent years but getting back into it.

H Index for all time is 25. Tracking plays since 2013 (8398 plays, 1763 games)
I'm at 8 for all-time, since 2021. But I only track plays with my physical copy of games.
I'm already at five just for this year. 22 overall.
All time H-index is 19, with stats going back to 2016. I don’t count online plays or plays of games I don’t own or it would probably be a bit higher.
