Because people seem to be speculating I’d like to call upon the likes of human ID expert u/firdahoe, as I hate to make definitive claims without the necessary expertise, but I’m gonna go ahead and say that that femoral head is way smaller and farther sunken in than on any human femur I’ve ever seen. This doesn’t look particularly human to me.
I am guessing cow…? The neck and trochanters look different than a human’s.
I recovered human femurs from tissue donors for 16 years full time.
I would love to see more photos of the distal end.

not sure what exact animal it belonged to, but definitely not human so you dont have to worry about that.
