I believe that Sony is now in charge of distribution for Disney. I am sure that Sony will do a fantastic job on any movies that Disney allows them to release
I’d love *Grosse Pointe Blank*, but I feel like that’s an incredibly unlikely one… same with *Ed Wood*.
But *Dick Tracy* and *The Color of Money* will likely get 4K releases at some point.
These get my vote:
13th Warrior, Arachnophobia, Crimson Tide, Down & Out In Beverly Hills, Encino Man, Judge Dredd, King Arthur, The Rock, Real Steel, Signs, Ruthless People, M Night Shyamalan Collection
Ed Wood (could also see Criterion)
Blood In Blood Out
The Insider
Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity for Cusack double feature.
It’s not listed here but you could have Son in Law paired with Encino Man since both were put out by Hollywood Pictures.
For me, I have to say Dick Tracy and Tombstone. Can you imagine what a 4K remaster of those movies would look like? Plus, imagine the box art and other accruements Arrow would add for the limited edition.
Disclaimer: haven’t seen the majority of the films in OP’s list (but recently bought some on Blu-ray so they’ll probably get 4Ks soon 😂)
Although in the UK it tends to be 88 and Eureka that do them, *Shanghai Noon* / *Nights* would fit the trend of the boutique treatment being given to every Jackie Chan movie they could get their hands on
*The Rocketeer* would work, it’s an older movie and a cult one too.
It was Lionsgate in the US and ITV (a fate sadly befalling *A Matter of Life and Death* and other Powell & Pressburger releases) in the UK when it made it to Blu-ray but I’d love *Strictly Ballroom* to get some real care taken of it for a 4K release
As an aside, given their reputation I find it hilarious that *Armageddon* was a Criterion DVD
The Insider would be interesting. I just watched it on the Criterion Channel and the compression of streaming did not play nice with the film's heavy grain.
Definitely The 13th Warrior, saw it in theaters, have the DVD, and have been waiting for it to get a domestic HD release. A lot of dark scenes that will benefit from HDR. A 2nd pick would be Ruthless People (1986) just because it's been so long since I've seen it.
[Open Range](https://www.reddit.com/r/CineShots/s/s3o2E3aU6R)
13th Warrior
Dead Presidents
Ruthless People
Mission to Mars
Down and Out and Beverly Hills (this one and RP seem more like Shout titles tho)
[Summer of Sam](https://www.klstudioclassics.com/film/summer-of-sam-dvd ) has a good quality Blu release from Kino
Swap that one for [25th Hour](https://www.reddit.com/r/FIlm/s/BPKzm2UyMl)!!
Of that list, Ed Wood for sure
Disney would most likely never allow it, but I'd easily choose Dick Tracy and The Rocketeer.
I believe that Sony is now in charge of distribution for Disney. I am sure that Sony will do a fantastic job on any movies that Disney allows them to release
I didn't know that...and I'm *sure* Sony will do a *fantastic* job getting these released.
So far, we haven’t really seen anything substantial coming out of that deal yet.
The 13th Warrior is my most wanted release in general. Especially if there was some way to restore the original Eaters of the Dead cut
YES
This is the way.
3 Ninjas LE for 49.99
$200 and comes with the masks
Encino Man and Tombstone would be my personal picks.
Look, there's great shit on the list, but Encino Man didn't even get a Blu ray and I fucking love that movie. Gimme that 4k goodness.
No wheezing the juice!
Is there a deal between the two? Disney hasn’t really licensed anything to boutiques lately
This is more of a fun exercise. There is no deal between the two.
I’d love *Grosse Pointe Blank*, but I feel like that’s an incredibly unlikely one… same with *Ed Wood*. But *Dick Tracy* and *The Color of Money* will likely get 4K releases at some point.
The Color of Money really needs it, the Blu-ray is horrid.
Dick Tracy, Ed Wood, The Rocketeer, and Tombstone.
I'm all in for Dead Presidents
These get my vote: 13th Warrior, Arachnophobia, Crimson Tide, Down & Out In Beverly Hills, Encino Man, Judge Dredd, King Arthur, The Rock, Real Steel, Signs, Ruthless People, M Night Shyamalan Collection
Open Range for sure.
The 13th Warrior, Gone in 60 Seconds, Con Air are at the top of my list.

I would love to see Arachnophobia get a good release.
For me, I have to say Dick Tracy and Tombstone. Can you imagine what a 4K remaster of those movies would look like? Plus, imagine the box art and other accruements Arrow would add for the limited edition.
Definitely Dick Tracy and Tombstone. Would also love Ed Wood.

Armageddon, without a doubt.
The only answer.

Loads
Earnest Scared Stupid. Fight me.
Missing Shoot to Kill on that list, doesn’t even exist on BD. On the list I’d love to see Blood In Blood Out in 4K.
