Super glue. I thought it would just be extreme slow for blimps. Then i was like "yo this thing conpletely stop these guys?"
On the other hand: The true sun god suprised me by how god awful it is ( i didn't know about sacraficing stuff at that time)
Bloodless sun god is literally weaker than Sun Avatar
ETA on the off chance anyone comes back to this thread -- this is misinformation. Avatars shoot 3 projectiles for 3 damage each; a bloodless **Temple** shoots one with 5 damage, which was the basis of the comparison here. Sun God adds 10 more damage and gets back into the lead
For a while all i ran was 0-2-5 glue gunner, Inferno Ring, and Prince of Darkness. Would get me past lvl 80 on all beginner maps. ( i just started the game a couple moths ago). I think i would add a 2-0-5 spike factory just incase at the end kf the map.
2-0-5 Spac is fine if you're restricted in terms of space, but elsewise I recommend you use 0-2-5 Spac buffed by a 4-2-0 Alchemist so it can pop DDTs, boost production and add additional damage.
Spirit of the Forest, it owns many maps without too much difficulty
Icicle Impale which just kills R95 and 98 without any mercy
The same could be said for Super Glue
Flying Fortress, although not affordable in most CHIMPS runs, is really impressive to see
But most of all, the Navarch of the Seas. Nothing better ever floated on the sea, but even the monkeys probably didn't see any better.
I placed it as an afterthought, just thought that I wanted shattering shells. Might as well grab Blooncineration.
AND HOLY SHIT HOW DO YOU HAVE THE 2ND MOST POP I JUST PLACED YOU DOWN. And the first one was the Anti Bloon so don't feel bad if you lost in pops to that
Yeah, people in the comments talk about how Icicle Impale makes rounds 95 and 99 easy, but it needs some heavy support or use the worse 2-0-5 crosspath to deal with DDTs. The Pre-Emptive Strike needs no support and completely makes those rounds trivial as all the MOABs and DDTs (even their fortified variants) just get insta-stripped off their blimp cover and then the ceramics are very easy to deal with.
It also makes round 100 much easier as the First Strike ability can kill the BAD with all of its children if you hit it right as the BAD is about to pop.
The fact that you can totally ignore its income generation and activated abilities and still have it be an amazing tower just purely passively is honestly kinda ridiculous. If I were the devs I'd be sore tempted to smack it with a nerf or three just on general principle. Until that happens, I'm loving it though.
MAD when it dropped. That moab damage is insane
Also not a single tower but alch+jitsu shocked me when it just carried 9 year old me till like round 60
I don't Undertand all the BMA hate.
You plop down a tower thas is really only useful for round 90+ and costs 50k, so it's not like you would have put it in any sooner. On track with only one ir two entries It will singlehandedly take down every round without spaced DDTs. If you're in CHIMPS not only will you never get any of that money back regardless of his existance but also he makes it so you only have to deal with the BAD layer. He also speeds the game up a lot
Literally no self saveup
Does nothing against ddts
Eats your entire money on late game
Very slow to deal with fast rounds
Bma is literally a way worse version of xxxl in chimps
Somewhat In depth explanation of why Bma is not a functional chimps tower.
Here is a list simple issues.
1, rubber to gold is not a functional chimps tower to any capacity and will not at all assist in a 50k saveup, you will have to make a full seperate midgame setup.
2, Bma destroys your capability to make money.
3, again, it costs 50k.
a combination of these facts mean that Bma absolutely needs to be able to, with only a reasonable amount of support+ midgame towers, handle every single round in the game.
it cannot and it is not even remotely close. it has horrible attack speed. Test it on ouch, even with a sabo and moab glue it cannot beat round 64, a round with only like 10 moabs. god forbid it is put against any round with more moabs than that, which is basically every round except round 97.
expensive as it is atleast superstorm actually is very strong against the 90's, only struggling against round 95. bma struggles against nearly every round.
as for other modes
any mode that doesn't go past round 80 is terrible for it because it's not a midgame tower.
for impoppable, either you have the same issue as chimps or farmed up enough money to just buy flying fortress or something.
bosses? it does no boss damage and for zomgs you will have a paragon.
freeplay? everything that's not a bad gets stunned and superstormed to irrelevance anyways, bma might be cute to have for lag reduction but navarch already does that.
TLDR as a tower Bma simply does not work.
Yeah there, he is op can completely negate free play scaling up to songs, you can't get a better tower than this for free plays and in ultra late game runs he is always the one to have the most pops
He takes care of the Zomgs and below, allowing most of your other towers to focus on bads. Yes, he doesn’t do damage to what the important thing is, but he’s the reason that everything else isn’t important
not true, he's not op at all for free play or ultra late game. Remember: Pop counts are deceiving. All that matters for late game is doing damage to BADs, that is the strict priority. Unfortunately, BMA does not help against BADs at all. Yes, it can one-shot ZOMGs but anything below a BAD is not a problem late game because there's many towers that either do the same or can permastun them until they die.
There are many better towers for late game than the BMA.
The XBM falls off when Superceramics come into play from round 81, but it can pretty much solo most maps in the game up to round 80. The reason the community does not like it is because it's a noob trap that many new players like to use until they realize how bad it performs in Impoppable and CHIMPS late game.
xx5 druid of wrath 😭 it was like:
"this is gonna be pretty good, the stacking might help me get some more moabs early and—*JESUS CHRIST 8 MILLION POPS ALREADY?*"
True Sun God.
I was like: This thing costs 500,000 dollars so it must be overpowered! Turns out I didn't sacrifice ANYTHING to it. Also Legend of the Night is just more cost efficient.
First path glue, mid path glue, and third path ice. They’re overlooked, not so much mid path glue I guess, but they’re really able to hold their own in higher rounds
BMA for me. This was back when i first played this game, i was just placing down random tier 5s. Then i look over at this little guy and hes got 50 million pops
Honestly when I first started the game I obviously went many paths and didn't know what's good or isn't (Imma be fair with you guys, I still don't have a clue but let's ignore that fact for the sake of this post.) but when I first used the alchemist and went like 0.2.5 I was so impressed at how many bloons he was poppin. After that he was I'd say my favourite monkey for a very long time which I build in almost every round without really caring that much if he's that good or not.
Monkey village first path. I was at the end of the game with 30k I thought: “you know what? I upgrade the village maybe my towers can attack faste……WTF IS THIS?”
Elite Sniper.
Not only is it much more effective than I initially expected it to be (really, I never used the middle path sniper until one day I decided to try, and it became my favorite sniper path), but what *really* shocked me is how good of a money-making tower it is. It somehow manages to surpass Benjamin if you place the Elite Sniper around round 40-50 all by itself if you use the ability as soon as it's ready. No X-X-4 village, no 5-X-X sub, somehow this 15k tower can generate around 50k-80k (hard VS Impoppable) cash all by itself!
dartling gunner ray of doom. i thought the 4th tier was good but the 5th tier is probably the best/most effective tower (if you get advanced targeting or etienne)
2-0-5 Ice Monkey, like what do you mean you can freeze almost every moab in the game?? Usually my highest pop count other than a top path Tack Shooter which also feels insanely strong.
Do paragons count? If then, Navarch of the seas. I had never it seen before and it was my second paragon. Navarch needs to be nerfed, instant fortified bad kill, hooks in every moab below bad all the time
I remember when my friend told me that the bottom path on alchemist is trash . So I showed him in sandbox how it work bro's face was literally pikachu meme face
I was gonna say bloon solver but after thinking a bit more I was probably more shocked by the t5 pirate lord. Dragging in entire waves worth of BADS feels downright criminal when you’ve only just unlocked t5 turrets 🏴☠️ 💥
Probably top path glue gunner, given how cheap he is i didnt expect him to be such a menace
“Ok imma deploy this tower and save up” “WTF this tower has hands I have saved up like 40K?”
"This tower has hands." 💀💀💀. No, but for realises, I was pleasantly surprised by top path glue gunner.
Me too it kills soooo many bloons in seconds 💀💀💀
Glue Gunner may be the most underrated tower by newbies.
I fucking love glue gunner. Pretty much every time I play i put down a glue and boomerang monkey.
Each path has a very good reason to be used.
Agree. I haven't used it for over a year after i started playing
Just plopped him down for the hell of it in the middle of Spillway and he left as the monkey with top pops by a LONG SHOT
ITS SO GOOD
I usually go 2-0-5 glue like literally every game. Top path more beneficial than providing earlyish CC for MOAB?
Dude. 0-0-5 does damage without top path
Yeah but that glue soak is what I'm mostly looking at
glue soak doesn't soak through moabs and relentless already stuns cerams
Isn't 0-2-5 alot better ?
That's what I'm trying to ask
I'm fairly certain that one can solo with camo detection until round 100 on logs, and with minimal help on other easy long maps
I named mine "End of Track" for a reason. It just is.
bottom path glue gunner slaps at t5 too. i was using him to farm pop xp for another tower, but he started stealing all the kills XD
Super glue. I thought it would just be extreme slow for blimps. Then i was like "yo this thing conpletely stop these guys?" On the other hand: The true sun god suprised me by how god awful it is ( i didn't know about sacraficing stuff at that time)

Avatars shoot 3 projectiles for 3 damage each; a bloodless **Temple** shoots one with 5 damage, which was the basis of the comparison here. Sun God adds 10 more damage and gets back into the lead
Weaker with value, popping power is greater tho
Inferno Ring. That shit deals 750 damage????
This tower has a global attack??
Indeed. Throws a meteor that, while the main attack doesn't, hits camo
Explosion can't see them so how can it hit them?
No clue. Still 1shots DDTs tho
explosions dont discriminate
mortar users in shambles reading this comment
well, bottom path doesnt
Bomb shooter too
Happy cake day!🎉
THIS is GOING to CHANGE THE META!!!¡!!
It gets even MORE boosted with Gwendolyn???
Is the buff really worth it tho? Isn't it like a mere 10%?
Yeah, but 10% on 750 makes it 825, so now it does more damage to other MOABs with more health.
Prince of Darkness + Inferno Ring with max buffs is broken on many maps on CHIMPS. It anti-stalls so much that the synergy is incredible.

Inferno Ring my beloved
Pretty sure it’s 1000
750 on 5x0, 1000 on 502
Ok. Thanks
"Bloon Solver looks cool, I'm gonna get him because I have extra money." "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE 800K POPS I PLACED YOU ON LIKE ROUND 88"
He said this on round 89
Real
Spirit of the Forest, it owns many maps without too much difficulty Icicle Impale which just kills R95 and 98 without any mercy The same could be said for Super Glue Flying Fortress, although not affordable in most CHIMPS runs, is really impressive to see But most of all, the Navarch of the Seas. Nothing better ever floated on the sea, but even the monkeys probably didn't see any better.
Spirit with the exploding vines MK has saved me so many times
Icicle impale made things so easy for some runs I simply avoid it lol
Icicle Impale is just too satisfying to see. Even past R100 it clumps bunches of blimps together in the same space.
xx5 mortar; me coming from BTD5 and BMC I was like "This thing is HOW strong?!?"...
I placed it as an afterthought, just thought that I wanted shattering shells. Might as well grab Blooncineration. AND HOLY SHIT HOW DO YOU HAVE THE 2ND MOST POP I JUST PLACED YOU DOWN. And the first one was the Anti Bloon so don't feel bad if you lost in pops to that
Use alch on it and it's even better
Hell yeah
Top path dartling, it's so massive
😏
Pirate Lord. That shit can one-tap any MOAB class bloons outside BAD. Combine it with Energizer and it will be better.
Plord + Energizer = xxxl trap
Icicle Impale. Pair it up with Cold Snap, and it'll make round 95 look like a joke.
Or use 0-2-5 with an mib which is what I do usually
Middle path Sub That thing said “It’s on sight”
Yeah, people in the comments talk about how Icicle Impale makes rounds 95 and 99 easy, but it needs some heavy support or use the worse 2-0-5 crosspath to deal with DDTs. The Pre-Emptive Strike needs no support and completely makes those rounds trivial as all the MOABs and DDTs (even their fortified variants) just get insta-stripped off their blimp cover and then the ceramics are very easy to deal with. Sky Shredder. even without micro-ing it lives up to it's name
Give it a MIB or alch and it goes nuts
Sky shredder can already hit leads without an MIB. You do still want a camo village/decamo though.
Wow I had no idea the darts could also pop leads. I should use this tower more lol.
I always go for BIG PLANE ^^TM
Spirit of the forest and all of the vines spreading across the whole stage
The fact that you can totally ignore its income generation and activated abilities and still have it be an amazing tower just purely passively is honestly kinda ridiculous. If I were the devs I'd be sore tempted to smack it with a nerf or three just on general principle. Until that happens, I'm loving it though.
Real question though is Druid better with 250 or 052?
250 in my opinion because range doesn’t matter with spirit of the forest
It does matter because the druid spawns higher-damage spikes inside its range
Wait what? That's interesting
Yes but that's often niche, you're better off with 150 so that vines on 130 and 140 can pop lead
MAD when it dropped. That moab damage is insane Also not a single tower but alch+jitsu shocked me when it just carried 9 year old me till like round 60
Batman
xx5 monkey ace, just the sheer number of bombs that comes out of that thing would shock even a Vietnam veteran.
Bma. Why can it delete double hp zomg
Bma is so good at instakills that it also instakill your money
Nah, I’d farm.
Nah I'd chimps
Unless you use farms or benji
You will still get less money
It's best use is at half cash. It halfs your half cash. No cash.
"Half cash is harder than chimps" How they are playing half cash:
I don't Undertand all the BMA hate. You plop down a tower thas is really only useful for round 90+ and costs 50k, so it's not like you would have put it in any sooner. On track with only one ir two entries It will singlehandedly take down every round without spaced DDTs. r/foundthebmauser
i recently learned that it’s actually an overrated tower. it’s not very useful late game other than for reducing lag if anything
Late game like r80 onwards or free play because free play is a different story
was referring to free play more specifically
Yeah there, he is op can completely negate free play scaling up to songs, you can't get a better tower than this for free plays and in ultra late game runs he is always the one to have the most pops
Might do the most damage but doesn't do the most damage to what matters the damage goes to
He takes care of the Zomgs and below, allowing most of your other towers to focus on bads. Yes, he doesn’t do damage to what the important thing is, but he’s the reason that everything else isn’t important
Stall towers: Boat paragon:
Me when strong targeting exists: Navarch of the seas: Edit: added Navarch

Especially when you have the power that lets you use two, and you buff it with a 500 town and 400 alchemist
I started playing a while ago so when I got the M.A.D. for the first time I was shook, before the nerfs that thing was busted
Superstorm (5xx Druid) (Ba dum tss)
Middle path ace, that nuke is better than I thought
Bro dead built like : 👅
Total freaksformation
perma brew. This shit costs 64k????
Carpet of spikes! I was trying to find an easy 2TC to do one of them was POD +carpet. I just had never considered middle path spikes before
Bottom path ice, before him DDTs were hard for me
Bottom path glue gunner, TOP PATH ISNT THE ONLY DAMAGING PATH??
Bottom path banana farm. Just one of those can fund almost every other t5 in the game easy.
xx5 druid of wrath 😭 it was like: "this is gonna be pretty good, the stacking might help me get some more moabs early and—*JESUS CHRIST 8 MILLION POPS ALREADY?*"
0-2-5 dartling, didnt realize how good it and 0-1-4 was for hard modes. I use 0-1-4 for deflation as a default now.
5xx buccaneer for me, global range and damn good damage, also offers spots for 2 more monkeys
Bloon Master Alchemist for sure. Seeing it delete ZOMGs blew my mind.
Ray of doom
mdom. I definitely underestimated it when i first used it
Please don’t shorten it like that
male domination :3
Glaive Lord
Crossbow master, didn’t expect him to be as good as he is
Crossbow master. HE IS CHEAPLY OP WHICH CAN STACK TWICE??????
I don’t know!
top path heli is a menace
True Sun God. I was like: This thing costs 500,000 dollars so it must be overpowered! Turns out I didn't sacrifice ANYTHING to it. Also Legend of the Night is just more cost efficient.
Middle path druid even at tier 4 feels a wee bit overtuned but once you get the tier 5 you can pretty comfortably save money up to round 90
Bottom path Alc, didn’t expect to one shot pretty much any blimp in the game. But I don’t use it since it burns a hole in your theoretical pocket.
First path glue, mid path glue, and third path ice. They’re overlooked, not so much mid path glue I guess, but they’re really able to hold their own in higher rounds
Druid top path, he blows everything away
BMA for me. This was back when i first played this game, i was just placing down random tier 5s. Then i look over at this little guy and hes got 50 million pops
Top path wizard, lowkey good tower ngl
Spirit od the forest
Tack zone, got it around the 60s and didn't need any extra damage till the 90s
Super mines
Druid 0-0-5
Honestly when I first started the game I obviously went many paths and didn't know what's good or isn't (Imma be fair with you guys, I still don't have a clue but let's ignore that fact for the sake of this post.) but when I first used the alchemist and went like 0.2.5 I was so impressed at how many bloons he was poppin. After that he was I'd say my favourite monkey for a very long time which I build in almost every round without really caring that much if he's that good or not.
Flying Fortress. Wow, it costs that much and it isn't doing shit? Greeeeat...
Sun god
Primary expertise! It did more damage than most my dart monkeys.
Monkey village first path. I was at the end of the game with 30k I thought: “you know what? I upgrade the village maybe my towers can attack faste……WTF IS THIS?”
Def the megalodon, I got him day one, and he was BUSTED
Top path village "Yeah it shoots a cool ballista attack that does 200 damage- IT BOUNCES? WHAT THE FU-"
5-x-x druid. It's positively electrifying!
I’m surprised not a lot of people have said Flying Fortress. Most of my run records of like up towards 300 have been with that. 😭
XXL trap, it just deletes the majority of every single round without bads in it
Ray of doom, the design of it is just crazy
Prince of darkness for how cheap it was and how absolute killer it is
xx5 ice monkey, incredibly good
The BIG plane
Arcmage. It ads fire and shimmer abilities even if you never used them
Same tower but BMA instead it one shots everything up to BADS
BMA, I was not expecting it to oneshot every MOAB-class Bloon below BADs
Mortar Monkey bottom path
2-0-5 Ice Monkey, like what do you mean you can freeze almost every moab in the game?? Usually my highest pop count other than a top path Tack Shooter which also feels insanely strong.
unironically monkeyopolis
Alchemist 205 is pretty damned good
Actually, Glaive Lord and BMA. Everything just melted. Like… WHAT??
bottom path beast handler
Bottom path alchemist
None. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Middle path druid
TBH, I thought Spirit of the Forest was gonna be trash, and then I finally got the upgraded, and I was shocked by how God tier it was.
I think uhhhhhhhhh Pirate Lord. I dunno. I can't remember that many years back
502 boomerang monkey's spinning glaives can pop camo even if it doesn't have radar scanner or any other camo detection buff
For me either super glue, I never realised when I used it that it did damage and it was actually really good, and BEZ, it is soo good at bloom killing
Glaive dom after the big buff when it went from as useful as tier 4 to a real tier 5
Definitely Flying Fortress the dmg just keeps on increasing so damn fast
Elite defender go brrrrrrrrr
Super glue
Elite Defender, he was one of my first tier 5's and his insane fire-rate really surprised a newbie like me.
Top path monkey buccaneer
Do paragons count? If then, Navarch of the seas. I had never it seen before and it was my second paragon. Navarch needs to be nerfed, instant fortified bad kill, hooks in every moab below bad all the time
Ultra Juggernaut. I used it in a ABR and was astonished at the pops it achieved
Xxl bllon trap, did not expect how much it would instakill
Glaive Lord. People always told me it was an absolute dumpster fire. But now it is my go-to tower for CHIMPS runs!
Top path druid shocked me alot
Icicle Impale
I mean I played on launch. When most tier 5s were USELESS, but commanche commander used to go hard
BMA
BMA
Not necessarily when I first placed it down but when I first learned about bottom path super monkey I lost my crap because I love Batman lol
I mean, first time I used him, Spirit of the Forest! Who doesn’t love money making, and global protection?
I remember when my friend told me that the bottom path on alchemist is trash . So I showed him in sandbox how it work bro's face was literally pikachu meme face
Ultra jugg, ngl, cheep and very good in crammed spaces like Cornfield
Hmm I would say archmage he's descently powerful
probably the ultra jugernaut, I don't remember why but I do remember that my self from 3 years ago loved that tower with all my might.
Bottom path sniper, still my fav tower to use as of today
Bottom path druid, it's so expensive and takes forever to fully build with poplusts and other buff, but is so powerful
I was gonna say bloon solver but after thinking a bit more I was probably more shocked by the t5 pirate lord. Dragging in entire waves worth of BADS feels downright criminal when you’ve only just unlocked t5 turrets 🏴☠️ 💥
When I found out about top path village I didn't expect it to fire stuff so when I used it the first time, I was baffled
BRUHHH
None of these are right. BMA 205 is the most underrated tower. Usually has the most pops in any game second to the paragon boat
