Even exclusively adult games with a low barrier to entry, I have a follower community for one of the most violent games out there and after the barrier to entry went down to $300 I started getting a fuckton of little kids asking for fortnight related stuff.

I think that the main reason that there are more adults than kids is pretty much the same than pokemon or basically every kid franchise that has existed for a long time, they played the original games when they were younger and still do to this day with the newer ones The same with me, I played BTD5 when I was like 11, and some months ago I remembered this game existed and bought the sequel (btd6)

Btd6 most likely has much more child players than adult players. It’s just that you act in communities where children are less present, so you don’t see them.
