Ha! One of mine has learned that when he wants me to come into the kitchen and play with him if Iβm elsewhere in the house, he throws a few of his toys off the table.
Yeah, I definitely had that realization one day when I was bending over to pick up one of them: "All I'm doing is showing him that whenever he does this I'll come in here."
Oooh what a delightful display of budgies toys you have there!
Yes, she is so very proud of herself for learning this trick & earning your attention by finding the Best way to play with these entrancing budgie toys!
(*Btw i feel like i've seen similar racks or shelves but with a single-bar guardrail across the front. Perhaps you could find a way to install guardrail on your shelves, to increase the challenge for Maggie*?)
Yeah Maggie thinks everything is her toy. It's so fun when I remove her from her toys and she flies back so I can remove her again. We play this fun game multiple times a day π
Unfortunately i don't think I cant install anything because I live in a rental and i don't want to damage it too much. But it would be a great idea!
I totally understand! πβ€οΈ It's just a little over a month since I got my boi and he has already started showing his true colours. Everyday is unpredictable and fun with him. Few more months with this lil rascal alone and he'd get his very own live-in companion, hopefully as calm as Charlie π
Haha it's good to have a calm one and a rascal. It's about balance π I think it's good that you are bonding with your boy before getting him a friend π that makes everything much easier!
Exactly!! Poles apart would be so π₯°π€£ I was told by everyone to get one tame it and then go for another. I can clearly see nothing works on my lil rascal. So taking it slow till we have a solid foundation β€οΈπ₯³π
Paprika seems like a reasonable place to start for seasoning budgies. π
I tell mine all the time that they're going to be in the soup, & I'm going to thoroughly enjoy every bit of it, if they don't stop acting up. I have a couple that like to chew things. Several of them throw things from shelves like this, toys, etc. Oddly enough, the one that likes to do both & the one that gets the most threats from me is a female lutino named Chuck.
Maβam my client is innocent. Yes I understand there is video evidence of them deliberately doing the act but they plead not guilty for reasons, seebs please?
I love her apparent confusion that, something she knocks onto the floor, will in fact, land on the floor π mine are the same when they throw their water bottle over!
She always looks startled when the thing she pushed actually hits the floor. π she loves to push empty pepsi cans down and then look down from the table to see what made that noise ππ
It's not so bad. I have wetwibes on hand that I use to clean up poop. They have their cage and playgrounds where they sit and chill, which has the most poop around, so the mess is kinda centered around these places
Thatβs great! My birds if I let them out kind of poop everywhere. Your home is so beautiful and clean so I was like what is the secret! Maggie is so cute
So true π Maggie has destruction in her blood. She is the worst menace to society and she i lucky that I love her π i don't know why but I love her messy personality even though I have to pick things up and litteraly buy glass doors for my book shelves because she likes to ruin books ππ
She just wants to see thyme fly.
ππ
Parrots' (in general) luck is that they are extremely cute, otherwise the species would be extinct by now.
So true π
Maggie is a cat
Yup
cat souls stuck in a budgies body
You don't know the half of it. Ever see a budgie [chase a laser pointer?](https://www.stango.org/media/buddy_chasing_laser.mp4)
why ? is it so cute
Oh my god that is absolutely hilarious!!! π€£π€£π€£
Exactly π
same as my kiwi :)

Ahh, you have been trained well.
Yeah, I definitely had that realization one day when I was bending over to pick up one of them: "All I'm doing is showing him that whenever he does this I'll come in here."
They are too clever π
She's just testing the jar for quality
Yes π
LOL. I had a budgie who just loved pushing shiny things off an edge. He did that same hairy eyeball routine too.
They are the cutest little assholes π
Hahaaaaa this was hysterical yet cute at the same time! I have a budgie named Charlie who ironically looks a lot like your Charlie!
Awe it's a good name ππ₯°

Perhaps a long, thin plastic bin to put the spices into & then onto the shelf might do the trick.
Please give Maggie to me! I already have an unruly kiddo... Might as well get him a cute and interesting companion πβ€οΈ
I am sure they would be best friends. Haha. But as annoying as she is, I don't think i can live without her silly personality in my life π₯°π

Sounds like a good plan πβ€οΈ
She's picking out the seasonings to use when you cook her. I use dill, basil and fennel to season my budgie.

Haha. She picked out the paprika π

She pleads "too cute for prosecution"
Dejligste fugle ππ
Ja hun er sΓΈd π₯° for det meste π

I can haz?
How do you keep your house clean with budgies flying everywhere, donβt they poop all over the place?

Hehe thanks π it's definitely a little messy sometimes, but I can always clean up the worst poop fairly quickly π
Channeling her inner feline, I see.
Yup π
Did she learn that from a cat?!? π π€£π€£
Maybe she was a cat in a past life π
I want to adopt her
Understandable π
She loves you. She knows you can't get rid of her
Exactly. She is abusing her power π
Mine do the same π. They chew everything. Well 2 of them anyways. One more adventurous than the other.
Little rascals π
Yup
Fik Γ¦rligt talt et lille shock da du begyndte at snakke dansk, haha
Hahaha kender π
lol.. sheβs playing with things you have given her access to..
Arent you scared of your cooking stove? The glass may brake. Please protect that somehow I am scareed for youπ±π± Btw cute birdsβ‘
Yeah i am scared. I will have to find a way to stop her from throwing glass π
She looked at the floor like "who did that?!?" π
I love how she's admiring her handywork :P
Are you sure you are not going to miss her?
One of my budgie's knocks over my dad's mini ern all the time.
Bird moment lmao
How can something so cute be so destructive. Budgies are basically the cats of the sky
