But if the weather’s going to be really bad I just leave the RTT closed and sleep in the bed. To do this I have to relocate gear into the cab but it’s really not so bad. Also, with the RTT if I have to pack it away wet, I just open it up on the first nice day and let it dry out.

So not me but I have friends with RTT and I have a canopy that I built a drawer system in that I sleep on top of My friends often complain to me the week we come back after camping because it's rained non stop that they haven't had a chance to open up their canopy to dry it out properly. Meanwhile my fiberglass shell just sits there on my truck perfectly happy in the rain.

Autohome fiberglass RTT. Literally nap-ready in seconds and stows just as fast.
