Freeland’s PR strategy is to give the impression the party and its leadership is under control, and the dissatisfaction within their own ranks is minimal. Basically: this is bullshit.

Kool41DMAN

Just lie about everything. Her M.O.

Reeeeaper

Smile and wave boys! Smile and wave.

camel_sinuses

Hey, it works for the Kremlin!

LiterallyMachiavelli

She ironically sounds like a Soviet politician whenever a power struggle happened in the Soviet Union, reassuring the public that all is well whilst an internal coup is actively happening behind the scenes

notinsidethematrix

Baghdad Bob would be proud.

Dry-Membership8141

Great, vote them all out.

Due-Street-8192

Don't they don't support JT. They want his job! All bs

One_Rough5369

We need some new establishmentarians RIGHT NOW

Once_a_TQ

She's delusional. Many are starting to voice against.

ScooperDooperService

Eh. Maybe, maybe not. Any member of that party that hasn't yet openly voiced their opposition to their leader might as well just go down with the ship at this point rather than risk their job. I mean some or most of them only have a year left anyways, but it makes more sense just to ride it out.

growlerlass

Who?

Itchy_Training_88

The scary thing is she can say this with a straight face.

[deleted]

She’s had years of practice spewing utter nonsense

Reeeeaper

She gets it from her grandfather.

Workshop-23

She's a true believer in the most dangerous sense. She believes in her superiority and that the ends justifies the means. The most dangerous kind of person.

DerelictDelectation

An even vaster majority of Canadians doesn't support Trudeau, nor the Liberal party.

somerandomstuff8739

Is anything they say not a truck load of bullshit

Embarrassed-Cold-154

Nope.

Sharktopotopus_Prime

Lying is like breathing for these people.

[deleted]

Let JT stay leader, I for one look forward to his concession speech when him and his party is annihilated in the next election.

OneConference7765

Why? Is it because they are told to tow the party line or else; or do they actually think the direction their party is going under his leadership is what Canadian's want. What Kool-Aid are they drinking..

Embarrassed-Cold-154

The purple jones town kind.

xwt-timster

> The purple jones town kind. If only they would be so kind.

A_Little_More_Human

Theres only one person despised more than Trudeau - thats Freeland!

elephantshuze

Showing the judgement she is known for

etoyoc_yrgnuh

Like..........how?

Webster117

They’ve supported him up until now. It’s not hard to think they are still as dumb as before.

xwt-timster

> Like..........how? They're just saying it to appease Dear Leader.

Bananasaur_

Then I suppose vast, vast majority of Canadians will not be supporting members of the Liberal caucus. Sometimes people dig their own graves.

EnamelKant

Freeland knows you have to loyally stand behind someone before you can stab them in the back.

The_Divine_pickle_

Honestly this could be true. It probably is. Liberals are corrupt liars. The vast vast majority of Canadians do not support Justin or the Liberals. That should matter but it doesnt. We want an election!

[deleted]

CyrilSneerLoggingDiv

I give the homeless guy more credence.

ssomewhere

Meanwhile, discussing the byelection loss in her backyard

ONE-OF-THREE

Perhaps most/some do foolishly still fully support him, but I think it's coming up on a year since the last major cabinet shuffle (July 26th, 2023), and Trudeau might use that opportunity/excuse to remove those who are not still fully loyal/beholden to him...

Odd-Elderberry-6137

She’s as much inside the out of touch bubble as Trudeau. Of course she would say that.

Own_Truth_36

Sure they do...sure they do.

Rusty_Charm

K vast majority of the country does not and we call the shots

timetogetoutside100

Brain Dead Tone Deaf, when reality hits, and they lose badly, it's gonna be something lol

Golbar-59

Well, maybe they shouldn't?

Feeling_Map302

Fake news

Jaylegger

Ahh yes the arbiters of truth. Let me be absolutely clear meester speeeker.

foh242

Never seen Freeland say the truth, so the opposite?

HungryTank2780

What kind of liberal party do you want to live in ? She is out of touch

HanSolo5643

Then, have a full caucus meeting. If what she is saying is true which let's face it. It's probably not true. Then why won't Trudeau have a proper meeting with the caucus.

Falconflyer75

Then their judgement is impaired and none of them Should be in power I don’t like Pierre or Singh at all, REALLY don’t want either as PM meaning the Liberals had basically no competition when it came to getting my vote, I had nowhere else to go, voted Mulcair and Otoole in the past but there are no such candidates this time If they had ousted Trudeau I MIGHT have given them another chance They messed even that up, so u know what enjoy getting run over by Pierre I might vote third party, might sit it out, might even vote Pierre and throw up after But I sure won’t be voting for….. this

Perfect-Armadillo212

VAST: Very great in size, extent, or quantity MAJORITY: The greater number or part; a number more than half of the total. Basically she uses the same word more than once, now I know this isn’t fluff for an essay, but when a person has to repeat the same word twice they are full of poop or doo-doo Kind of like the liberals

LengthClean

Post their names then. Do it. Do a vote of confidence and post the results. Stupid skank.

Impossible-Head1787

Well  the ones that want to remain on his good side and stay In the caucus do anyhoo...

RedEyedWiartonBoy

Vast, vast now means 4 to 6, about the same number as can fit in a small SUV.

maxgrody

vast vast freeland

tilldeathdoiparty

Awesome, don’t let that change and when they’re all looking for jobs they can blame each other

BernardMatthewsNorf

What the Liberal Party is experiencing is rot similar to a longstanding dictatorship. Anyone who is a potential challenge to Dear Leader is out or marginalised. Loyalty is privileged over talent. Leadership of ministerial portfolios is diminished. Since ideas = ambition = leader rival, novel ideas cease to arise. Since bold decisions effectively result in punishment, decision-making gets centralised around a small inner circle around the Dear Leader, resulting in poorer, slower decisions and micromanagement. Authoritarian tendencies increase and, almost inevitably there is either a coup, or the system collapses under its own incompetence.

No-Heart-3839

In other words "No one wants to be the next Kim Campbell so he has to go down with the ship"

i_never_ever_learn

Very big majority, there's never been a bigger majority in the history of the earth

Workshop-23

Vast, so big, the biggest. No one has ever had bigger. Vastly. Sound familiar?

Leafs109

God damnit these people need to just stop talking I cant take it anymore

lol_ohwow

Too bad for freeland, JT is working behind the scenes with Mark Carnie. The bus that struck JW-R is about to strike again. Hang on Christia. It will all be over soon enough.

Kymaras

lol Mark who?

cabbeer

glad they put it out there, I was uneasy voting convervative but this makes it much easier..

Dramatic-Box-4931

All these liberals do is spew lies and line there buddy’s pockets with our hard earned cash

Scrube13

It's a fringe minority with unacceptable views within the party.

Turbulent_Wear290

This continues to be good news.  The only way they have a chance is without Trudy. Better they get crushed for what they’ve done to this country.  I hope all you potheads are happy.

Tao_Jonez

Now serving koolaid in the riding office water coolers.

Unfortunate_Sex_Fart

Thanks for telling the country. We all will consider this come election time.

Weak-Coffee-8538

Big baloney I've heard this week. The whole country is fed up with Trudeau but his own MPs aren't hahaha

GLG777

I call bs on that.  No one wants to lose their job and that’s what’s going to happen to these MP’s.   If Trudeau moved out of the way, they might (small might) keep their jobs

growlerlass

Well yeah. They are in caucus  because Trudeau chose them to be there. If they said they don’t support him they would be kicked out. But the fact that this is a question the media asks and the minister feels needs to be answered means it’s super bad for tredeau, if anohad any doubt. And no serious person would have any doubt.

AlexJones_IsALizard

Let me be extremely clear. You’re lying

Alarmed_Influence_21

Of course they do. He has to sign their nomination papers every election, and holds their political lives in his hands ... and everyone knows it.

heyredbush

But what about the voters ... 🤔

SadSoil9907

Of course they do, any MP that steps out of line risks getting thrown out of caucus. JT’s days are numbered, everyone knows it, why not wait till he’s done and then run for leadership, far less of risk.

Reddit_Hate_Reader

Freeland is full of shit.
