That strikefire is too large to be to scale. That said, most vortex optics with risers like that have an optional second one that's a lot flatter. So you should still be good.
Yep... You'll be chin weld, at best.
Either grab a low/med profile scope ring to bring it lower, or add a cheek riser - I use Velcro, with the soft side on the rifle stock, & Tourbon cheek riser HDF (foam) pieces w the hook side applied, so you can get the right height. .
A traditional rifle buttstock is a lot lower than one on an AR so the riser probably won't be necessairy.
You should be able to mount it with a single 30mm ring if you happen to have an extra set lying around.
I have an American and I'm using a LPVO on a standard AR height riser. It's totally doable and you still get plenty of contact with the stock for offhand shots. I tried using lower scope rings and it actually made working the bolt fast a bit difficult and I kept skinning my knuckles up from the scope.
you will have to do a chin weld but slip on cheek risers are cheap. If you are buying 7.62x39 you are probably buying Chinese surplus so don't expect sub 1moa.
Everyone has told you it's too high but you could add a cheek riser (many options) or there are other mounts/scope options. I had the same problem on my Savage MKII FV-SR but I 3d printed a cheek riser and then later a whole chassis
Unless you already own that optic I'd direct you elsewhere. The Holosun 500 series (IE 503CU) would be my recommendation. If you can't swing that with your budget check out the 400 series.
A bolt action accuracy and rate of fire potential often benefits from a bit of magnification as well. I'd check out the Primary Arms prism line up if you haven't already.
If you put all that effort into making that up, you should also put the same amount of effort into seeing if the red dot is good or not, all vortex red dots are bad.

I think you may be right, barrel length is 16.5, and strike fire is 5.5 length, I scaled it by the pikatini rail but still looks too big
If that's a 16.5 inch barrel that sight is definitely too big lmao

I would guess you would need a cheek rest riser. The problem is that you can't know until you try it.

30mm ring is the answer if OP is set on using the Strikefire for sure.

I've heard the gen 2 is significantly better and if memory serves it has a cheek riser
not if you're half giraffe

Get a lower mount than that cantilever one and you'll probably be better off 🤙

That height over bore though….
I’d consider waiting for the second gen rifle if I were you, looks pretty sweet.
I can't remember what size the ring is but I've got a ring that attached to mine and it sits a couple millimeters above the rail now.

You did all this in PS but couldn’t press ‘print screen’?
