Code lyoko was wild to me couse there was only one tv channel that streamed it qhen i was a kid, and they just put some random episodes on air and i never u derstood what the fuck was even going on but i likedbthe action sequences so i kept watching anyway
It's a childhood favorite, but yeah whoever made the executive decision to make the characters' foreheads twice the size of their face should reconsider their career.
I’m pretty sure that someone picked up Code Lyoko from its home country France and are going to do something with it. I can’t remember if it’s a reboot of the original show, or a sequel that’s not irl
Same. I honestly feel bad seeing it listed as "obscure". I always thought of it as one of the best Nicktoons and loved the whole show; I even wrote a 350,000 word fanfic around it.
Anytime I talk about Juniper Lee, nobody knows what I’m talking about. I also loved class of 3000/Xiaolin Showdown, and time warp trio was my favorite thing in middle school.
do yall remember that show abt a middle school kid w a friend thats like an onion/garlic(?) kid that stinks. if i recall he wears a red cap and a hoodie. i forgot the name of the show. its very 2010 vibes.
Oh man! Sagwa and George Shrinks were both some of my jams growing up. Me and my brother and I used to watch them all the time whenever they were on when I was a kid. Alongside stuff like Arthur and Zaboomafoo.
Bro Gummi Bears was my jam growing up. That theme song was the perfect example of why the 90s had the best intros, there's so much *passion* in the orchestra and the singer absolutely rocks it.
I recognize so many of these shows! If I have to name one forgotten series I watched growing up...

Anyone by chance remember *Captain Flamingo*?
Blazing dragons was great. Dave the Barbarian came along years later and gave me a little of the same feel but sadly didn't last long. I wish I could find either of them on DVD, my kid would... maybe not love them, more like... watch them with an air of horrified fascination?
https://preview.redd.it/4tme2jtenlpc1.jpeg?width=259&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c658cdf30d5b2636b69a0c7f9b44125d3e145211
If memory serves me right, something about 2 orphans finding some comic with an ad about some company that replaces people with whoever the kids choose, so they got a daredevil and a secret agent as parents. And whoever they hate in their daily life they call the company and those people they hate gets replace. Or something idk
I only remember two episodes -- the one where Todd wanted to be right all the time (which changed their school's name from George Washington Middle School to George Stapler Middle School somehow) and also the one where Todd wanted to hide that he was flunking German and got an actual German woman (who didn't speak English) to masquerade as his teacher.
It was certainly a show.
Exactly! With a single press of a button (Technically 2 since the call button had to be revealed.) they could replace anyone, anywhere, anytime! And all it cost was a one-time charge of $1.98 for a phone mod.
It was as if Fleem Co. was the CIA or something. They showed where the unwanted person got swapped to, then poof, never mentioned again!
Also. The Fleem Co. CEO's face was never revealed.
To add on to the other comments.
Basically 9/10 times their replacement person failed and they wanted to get the original person back. So to us the audience it gave us the ability to perceive different life lessons like just because we think something will work out doesn’t mean that it will.

The show with the boy and the talking fish (Stanley? I remember Chop Socki Chooks, the episode that always stayed with me although I don't remember the full context was the one where the character in the middle of the poster with the glasses fell in love with like a celebrity girl and she doesn't care for him at all at first but eventually starts to like him back. And I think the villain was trying to get rid of her, and she ended up getting washed away in a sewer drain or something and presumably dying, and he couldn't save her and it was like a holy shit moment for me to see one of the heroes fail to save someone.
Dying??? wtf I don’t remember anything that gruesome😮 then again I don’t really remember anything besides cool fight scenes and funny moments from the villain and his dumb henchman😂 but damn, maybe I should do a rewatch sometime
Most of these including the first one just unlocked some core memories.
And I was just watching Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil yesterday after watching Ice Age.

Roswell conspiracies was such a great series.
YES THANK YOU! You're the first person other than me I've seen mention Project Geeker in 15-20 years and if my mom didn't remember it I'd have started thinking it was a Candle Cove thing. It was *such* a good show!

Genuine question. I remember watching this as a kid, is it as good as I remember ?
Canadian Edition:
Being Ian, Carl², Chaotic, Chop Socky Chooks, Cybersix, George of the Jungle, Jacob Two-Two, Kid vs. Kat, League Of Super Evil, Martin Mystery, Ruby Gloom, Storm Hawks, Viva Piñata, Wayside, What's With Andy, Zixx Level One(haven't seen 2 or 3, but they also exist)
Not all of these are exclusively Canadian, of course, but it always surprises me how many shows I watched when I was younger were largely produced here.
I can't be the only one who remembers this show, right?

EN PESSANT IS THAT VERBALASE
I loved Chalk Zone. There was the episode with a cyclops, and more frequently than I can to admit when I buy new pants, I say, "Look at my new knickers?!"
I've been watching Lloyd in Space on YouTube. Chalkzone was my brother's favorite. Sagwa was untouchable. I also loved braceface.

1. Babar
2. Jacob 2 2
3. Turbo dogs
4. jane and the dragon
5. Willa's wildlife
6. Rupert
7. 3,2,1 penguins
Rollie Pollie Ollie. Thought it was a Mandela Effect until I saw a clip of the show online.
Wow wow Wubbzy. Theme song is a bop and great show.
Chole's Closet. It was cute
The Sunny Side Up show with Chicka. Nostalgic
Lalaloopsy. They were my 💩 growing up
DEFINITELY Boyster. I have never ever in my existence of life seen anyone who knows Boyster except for my younger brother cuz we watched it together.

Redwall
Cyberchase
Batman: The Brave & The Bold
Danger Mouse
The Batman
The Lost World
Gadget & The Gadgetinis
Sumo Mouse
Wolverine & The X-Men
The Country Mouse & The City Mouse Adventures
(Yes, I watched a lot of stuff over the years.)
I know 5 of these from my own childhood, and one that my three year old Sister sometimes watches on netflix or some other streaming platform. Gotta say, even tho i never particularly loved any of these, i have some very fond memories of them. And the gummie bears, oh boy. That thing was already old when i was born, my mum loved it when she was a kid. Out of all the old cartoons she tried to make me like this one was the only one that i actually ended up liking
When I was real young and Gummi bears was still in it's network run my mom managed to throw together a gummi bears theemed party. She made the gummi medalion out of card board spray painted gold. I was pretty jazzed. I loved that show.
God, I loved the Big Guy and Rusty. Such a great concept and world built in that one season. Wish they had continued the story somewhere. I was getting to that too old for Saturday Morning cartoons/too busy at the time it aired, but they did replays on weekday mornings, and it was so good.
Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs! 😁 I saw an episode of that nearly twenty years ago where Harry tries to become "the muckiest boy in the world" and his badass Gran disguises herself as a mud monster, telling him that if he refused to wash, eventually his hair would fall out! 😱 I was horrified!
Code Lyoko and El Tigre https://preview.redd.it/p6yx7x902kpc1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=5ec88009e6a6a8876483de7e7c6da21f29707b6d
It’s so wild to me that the latter got added to Nick All Star Brawl 2.
I really enjoyed using manny in nicktoons unite
EL TIGRE IS IN ASB2?!
Code lyoko was wild to me couse there was only one tv channel that streamed it qhen i was a kid, and they just put some random episodes on air and i never u derstood what the fuck was even going on but i likedbthe action sequences so i kept watching anyway
El Tigre went so fucking hard, it’s a shame I wasn’t able to watch it more as a boy
One of my friends loves Code Lyoko but I can’t look at it without screaming. https://i.redd.it/trpgzgtfnkpc1.gif Sorry, it’s just ugly to me!
It's a childhood favorite, but yeah whoever made the executive decision to make the characters' foreheads twice the size of their face should reconsider their career.
True, it’s just hard to look at.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I will NEVER forgive Nickelodeon for cancelling El Tigre!
Same here.
**EEEEELLLLL TIGGGRRRREEEE!***
I love Code Lyoko soooooo much
Adding to this: https://preview.redd.it/nmu5jolbmqpc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3720b97c76b55f2b5b4a3753774eede2f0696344
Code Lyoko? Forgotten? Is this something I'm too French to understand?
I’m pretty sure that someone picked up Code Lyoko from its home country France and are going to do something with it. I can’t remember if it’s a reboot of the original show, or a sequel that’s not irl
Chalk Zone deserved better.
The intro goes so hard.
Rudy’s got the chalk
Rudy’s *got* the chalk
Same. I honestly feel bad seeing it listed as "obscure". I always thought of it as one of the best Nicktoons and loved the whole show; I even wrote a 350,000 word fanfic around it.
Other Forgotten/Obscure Cartoons: - *Time Warp Trio* - *Three Delivery* - *Class of 3000* - *Duck Dodgers* - *Xiaolin Showdown* - *Wayside* - *Iron Man: Armored Adventures* - *The Life and Times of Juniper Lee* - *The Weekenders*
American dragon
The fact Duck Dodgers got Dave Mustaine out of hiding is always insane
That cartoon was my introduction to megadeth
Mine, too! And that episode was one of the things that set me up for my eventual love for metal music.
Anytime I talk about Juniper Lee, nobody knows what I’m talking about. I also loved class of 3000/Xiaolin Showdown, and time warp trio was my favorite thing in middle school.
Ah, shit. I literally just put Iron Man: Armored Adventures. It had the sweetest theme song.
Class of 3000 makes me think of chowder
do yall remember that show abt a middle school kid w a friend thats like an onion/garlic(?) kid that stinks. if i recall he wears a red cap and a hoodie. i forgot the name of the show. its very 2010 vibes.

You just unlocked like the deepest fucking memory in me I literally have not thought about this show since the age of 7
🎵I see a la-aand...🎵
…with liberty for all.
I watched that in Civics class last year!
I remember having to watch this in my 5th grade class that was an experience
I remember watching that one time in school a few years ago, I don’t remember much of it but I do know it’s based on history and that I did watch it
Omg… I forgot about word girl
That buzzlight year cartoon(not lightyear/Pixar interstellar)
Buzz Lightyear of the Star Command, probably? Unless they made another.
Pixar doesn’t want us to remember it.
And that dumb it was nice Campy fun(also way better than their “serious”Lightyear movie)
Jackie Chan Adventures was also incredible
ONE MORE THING!

I was obsessed with this show
Oh man! Sagwa and George Shrinks were both some of my jams growing up. Me and my brother and I used to watch them all the time whenever they were on when I was a kid. Alongside stuff like Arthur and Zaboomafoo.

that seems like a very limited premise
Yeah i watched a few episodes but i got so lost
There's no plot. You can start anywhere.
Yeah, that's pretty much the show. The intro theme song covers the premise, too.
Oh yeah it was a banger but damn the show was meh
I only remember two episodes -- the one where Todd wanted to be right all the time (which changed their school's name from George Washington Middle School to George Stapler Middle School somehow) and also the one where Todd wanted to hide that he was flunking German and got an actual German woman (who didn't speak English) to masquerade as his teacher. Oh, I loved the Littlest Pet Shop series! I used to sit and just listen to the songs from it. I was a huge fan of Zoe, I loved her very much.
I didn’t think Camp Lazlo and Kick Buttowski were that obscure, but I don’t interact with the cartoon community that much so I could be wrong.
Word Girl, Dragon Tales, and Littlest Pet shop are iconic (to me atleast)
Canadian Edition: Being Ian, Carl², Chaotic, Chop Socky Chooks, Cybersix, George of the Jungle, Jacob Two-Two, Kid vs. Kat, League Of Super Evil, Martin Mystery, Ruby Gloom, Storm Hawks, Viva Piñata, Wayside, What's With Andy, Zixx Level One(haven't seen 2 or 3, but they also exist) Not all of these are exclusively Canadian, of course, but it always surprises me how many shows I watched when I was younger were largely produced here.

Dragon Tales used to be my shit. Kinda wanna watch it now
Oswald, Rolie Polie Olie, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. All 3 were kind of bizarre and surreal. I mean, what even is that Ferocious Beast?
Iron Man: Armoured Adventures.
I've not seen anyone mention Hero 108
Lloyd in Space was definitely locked out of all the ones I've seen on this list
Dang it's been forever since I've seen Maya and Miguel I loved watching least half of the cartoons mentioned above
I can't be the only one who remembers this show, right? https://preview.redd.it/ykjf2tj33mpc1.jpeg?width=780&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b2fc2ad71bdbef6d07498d6450ff2cc542e5e8c
YOOOOO FUCKIN CHALK ZONE
OMG DRAGON TALESS

pretty sure wordgirl isn't that obscure, at least compared to most of the shows on this list
I loved Chalk Zone. There was the episode with a cyclops, and more frequently than I can to admit when I buy new pants, I say, "Look at my new knickers?!"
https://preview.redd.it/x0en4fzxmnpc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d4578e934f1aa2e346ad862f4b37293a9b1c091 I hated it so much
another one i never see anyone mention is Rubbadubbers.
Wonder over Yonder
I watched a lot of Sagwa, I have it on DVD. I also have Aladdin the Cartoon on cassette.
I've been watching Lloyd in Space on YouTube. Chalkzone was my brother's favorite. Sagwa was untouchable. I also loved braceface. ![gif](giphy|14kSz9fdAiIlry)
https://i.redd.it/ikf7gzn1qopc1.gif I've tried talking about Mew Mew Power with countless people over the years and not a single one has ever heard of it.

Dragon Tales is a great show featuring the best character not just of the 2000s, but of any PBS show, and his name is Enrique.
Mad from CN https://preview.redd.it/lmn2d7789ppc1.jpeg?width=333&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=766a9ee3edbb99e3efda80a2cbb9a3620bab05b6 And we can't let qubo get left out so I will say a few. 1. Babar 2. Jacob 2 2 3. Turbo dogs 4. jane and the dragon 5. Willa's wildlife 6. Rupert 7. 3,2,1 penguins
Rollie Pollie Ollie. Thought it was a Mandela Effect until I saw a clip of the show online. Wow wow Wubbzy. Theme song is a bop and great show. Chole's Closet. It was cute The Sunny Side Up show with Chicka. Nostalgic Lalaloopsy. They were my 💩 growing up
DEFINITELY Boyster. I have never ever in my existence of life seen anyone who knows Boyster except for my younger brother cuz we watched it together. https://preview.redd.it/o3uq00wvjrpc1.png?width=372&format=png&auto=webp&s=6b110307edb81878c7ba985a812b9cbf77b702db
I myself didn't even know what you were talking about until I saw the poster; I only vaguely remember the character designs.
I will always respect Lloyd in Space for their non-binary episode. Also, I got mad love for the Gummy Bears. I wanted that juice so much. Lol
Redwall Cyberchase Batman: The Brave & The Bold Danger Mouse The Batman The Lost World Gadget & The Gadgetinis Sumo Mouse Wolverine & The X-Men The Country Mouse & The City Mouse Adventures (Yes, I watched a lot of stuff over the years.)
Not really a show, but a comic *

OMF THIS SHOW TAKES ME BACK
LITTLEST PET SHOP LETS GOOOO
TUFF PUPPY WAS THE BEST!!
Why is verbalase in the 10th image?
I never saw an episode of Word Girl but occasionally clips of it will pop up on my YouTube and usually it always the wildest scenes
Only 3 of these I've never heard of. The rest I remember like Yesterday.
Animals of Farthing Wood.
Harry and the the bucket full of dinosaurs holy… that’s a memory
Don’t worry I still remember half of these
I know the 17th panel. Good times on Disney channel, before it got removed.
Ok, I remember a dragon racing show on either Disney xd or jetix. Anyone else?
Mixels!
Word Girl and Little Pet Shop brought back memories
We definitely need Camp Lazlo on Max.
When I was real young and Gummi bears was still in it's network run my mom managed to throw together a gummi bears theemed party. She made the gummi medalion out of card board spray painted gold. I was pretty jazzed. I loved that show.

Omg I used to see ads for Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs but never got around to watching it
April and the extraordinary world was very good
God, I loved the Big Guy and Rusty. Such a great concept and world built in that one season. Wish they had continued the story somewhere. I was getting to that too old for Saturday Morning cartoons/too busy at the time it aired, but they did replays on weekday mornings, and it was so good.
I literally mentioned Puffy Ami Yumi and ChalkZone to my wife the other day!
A lot of these didn’t last long enough to make an impact.

Thank you for the first slide. I can never remember the name of it, but I knew it was a Chinese aesthetic base and that it had cats.
EEK THE CAT! AND THE TERRIBLE THUNDERLIZARDS! TAZ-Mania!
Loved big guy and rusty. I don't think it ever got a conclusion and 10 year old me is still sad about that. No one ever mentions it
Wordgirl is peak ngl
I honestly thought I made up Sagwa when I was a kid lol
Shadow Raiders
The one thing I remember from Lloyd is that one alien that didn't have a gender then they did but didn't tell anyone what it was.
Loved gumi bears back in the day
Growing Up Creepie and The Future is Wild (the cartoon with the 4 teens traveling through time, not the movie)
Fish hooks
Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Santa Bugito, The Magician, Xyber 9.
