Literally only finished watching it because of Sox

Soul was best.
Turning Red was second.
Elemental was cute and well animated.
Lightyear was disappointing.
Onward doesn't get enough love.
Haven't seen Luca yet.
Elemental, Luca and Turning Red are my favorites from this list. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Soul :/ but that’s just an unpopular opinion it seems
I understand that Soul is probably the better movie here, BUT, no other movie has inspired me more than Turning Red. Can you really blame me though? I can’t recall another movie inspiring me enough to sit down at a desk and draw something, let alone draw a fursona.
I love me some Elemental I do, but nah, it's Onward by a long shot! The pain you feel the whole movie never even getting to see their dad's whole body and then he does appear but only to the older brother! That was like a modern Brother Bear level sadness! Then you got the whole magic plot, too, and mythological creatures! The Manticore!
And see Elemental was the first movie my daughters saw in the theater. My wife and I were so nervous but they both did great! Mind you I had just seen the Movies episode of Bluey so I was so scared especially since they're 2 and 4! They played the sing from the movie a billion times bit still as a whole Onward is probably the best animated movie I've seen since Inside Out!
I saw Onward a couple months after losing my dad, so it's the same for me. Everyone was just doing their best for each other, and the heart of every character made it so real for me.
Maybe it's because I'm a D&D nerd who watched it a couple months after my own dad died (while going in fairly blind), but Onward will always have a special place in my heart. It felt like a love letter to so many things all at once, and everyone's characterization was so very human. Literally everyone was just doing the best they could.
Different movies hit different people. I connected better with Onward and Turning Red, myself, and found their stories fresher, but that in no way diminishes Soul.
Soul: really good and feels like older pixar
Elemental: solid, but nothing special
Turning red: fun to watch alone but very embarrassing to watch with others
Lightyear: a fun time, and Sox is one of the best things to come from humanity.
Onward and luca: just forgettable to me
For me, I would say either Soul or Luca. Soul is a great animated film that helps show that animation is not just for kids and can be mature and well thought out. Luca is a good summer adventure movie about two friends in a beautifully rendered Italy. The other movies I could barely watch. Lightyear was boring, I had to watch Turning Red in chunks because it wasn't really made for me, Elemental was fine but a lot of the humor fell flat and Onward felt like wasted potential for world building.
Soul is definitely my favourite. It came out in a time of my life when I was not in a good place.
Turning Red was cool with the early 2000s nostalgia.
Elemental was visually stunning.
Onward was interesting.
Lightyear was entertaining, but it should have been a film to reboot the animated series that doesn't seem to exist any more. It definitely should have had more of a 90s feel to it as well.
The only one I haven't seen yet is Luca.
All of these are great:
Elemental is a sweet love story between two unlikely individuals.
Lightyear is a surprise take on a toy character, that turned out very well.
Turning Red gives me nostalgia because me and the kids around me also grew up with 90s - Early 2000s stuff a decade later.
Luca is an interesting story about trying to live in a different environment and trying to expand your horizons.
Soul is heartwarming take on... well, the *soul*, and shows an interpretation on how souls can become new life and that you're not bound to one path in life.
Onward is a fantastic adventure that show how people deal with loss and that you don't have to go through it alone.
Luca for sure
Onward I havent seen so cant judge it, soul didnt feel right throughout, lightyear never seen it, turning red saw enough to know it isnt that good. Elemental was a flop at the box offices for the most part.
Guessing you respect the effort and work put into them?
Also: you need to watch a film all the way through before judging it, as you may find something you like about it.
The funny thing about lightyear is that it has the most scientifically accurate time travel I’ve ever seen in a movie. Up until Zurg ends up being him from the future
i still want to watch soul, but from what i remember elemental was ok and onward was decent, i feel like things have kind of gone downhill since the good dinosaur and inside out came out
Onward, Turning Red, and Luca for me.
I am always interested in what your standard fantasy world would look like in the present, and Onward did that really well. I also really enjoyed that Manticore cop; she was hilarious!
I love Luca, I know most people didn’t really love it and found it just ok but I think it is my favorite Pixar solely because that movie reminds me so much of Studio Ghibli movies.
Ok Soul is good quality wise and all but LUCA IS SO AMAZING OMG ITSELF SUCH A FEEL GOOD MOVIE AND I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH
Also Turning Red gets way too much hate. That movie is GREAT and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
I agree that I think Soul was the best movie. Though I would say Elemental and Turning Red are a tie for close second. To this day I believe that the person who approved the advertising campaign for Elemental should be publicly fired and any marketing degrees they had revoked. They made an advertising campaign that made it seem like a stupid generic Rom-com, hiding the great story they had. The story of children of immigrants and the conflict they have between following their desires and the expectations that are placed on them.
Soul by far, is objectively the best movie they’ve done the last years.
I really liked Turning Red and Elemental, they’re both good movies.
Onward and Luca were pretty meh to me, and I haven’t seen Lightyear yet.
Luca or soul, im leaning towards soul.
As for onward, turning red and elemental I wasn’t a fan of them I thought they were pretty cringe actually.
And I never watched lightyear so opinion N/A.
Turning Red. People didn't like it because it was cringy or too mature. But that was kind of the point of turning red. A real look into adolescence for teenagers & the struggles both the teen & the parents go through.Turning Red also looks at relationships with Asian parents & Children as teenagers will not think that their parents will not know what's best for them & Parents won't think that teenagers know what's good for them. A good, funny movie with a very deep moral which can sometimes be ignored.
Light-year if the frames were slowed down. What a weird experience watching that move it, whose choice was it to put a theatrical release on fast forward mode.
1. Luca: I just love it, it reminds me when I've gone to Lisbon in 2023
2. Soul: Such a good story to it, I love the music to it
3. Onward: Really, really underrated. I like Ian and Barley better
4. Elemental: I love the detail to it, nice. I love the Steal the Show song.
5. Lightyear: OK, but a lot gay, just OK
6. Turning Red: I JUST HATE IT!!! MY LEAST FAVOURITE SCENE IS THE FINAL BOSS!!! DO NOT MENTION IT WHEN YOU REPLY TO ME!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for being rude
Onward or Elemental. Never saw the latter but heard from people it's a sleeper hit. Enjoyed the former a ton as it felt more like a Modern Tabletop RPG, cept the modernized city is built on the ruins of temple's and dungeons or repurposed them to other facilities... And Disney will not do that anymore; they are suffering.
Soul for sure
Hands down Soul.
Lucas my favorite
Soul 100%. Initially didn’t watch it cause I wasn’t that interested then I ended up watching it in class and it’s really good
Soul. I thought lightyear would be good, but it was a f**king disappointment.
Literally only finished watching it because of Sox https://preview.redd.it/vw07o8ec2j2d1.jpeg?width=469&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a09ec7a5178da1c9f48d2750d20853f6513169f
same
Soul was best. Turning Red was second. Elemental was cute and well animated. Lightyear was disappointing. Onward doesn't get enough love. Haven't seen Luca yet.
WATCH LUCA WATCH LUCA IT'S SO CUTE
Onward shouldn't get love
Why's that?
How dare you.
Elemental, Luca and Turning Red are my favorites from this list. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Soul :/ but that’s just an unpopular opinion it seems
Those 3 are my favorite as well! I liked Soul, but I didn't connect with it as much as those 3.
I understand that Soul is probably the better movie here, BUT, no other movie has inspired me more than Turning Red. Can you really blame me though? I can’t recall another movie inspiring me enough to sit down at a desk and draw something, let alone draw a fursona.
Luca was my favorite hands down
Only seen *Turning Red* and *Lightyear*. Of those two, Turning Red by far. Lightyear seemed like at least two if not three movies compressed into one.
Yesss, that film is good! Maybe "Luca" will be right up your alley if you're interested to watch!
Luca
Onward
It's actually a pretty good movie. Didn't expect it to be. I'd maybe watch it again.
I'm a dad, I'm biased
Dad here as well. Loved Onward.
LMAO
I know no one will agree, but it's Elemental and it's not even close.
I’d say onward too! Great movie but it was also the last movie I watched with my uncle before he passed. It holds a special place in my heart
I don’t agree with the ‘not even close’ part, but I do agree that it’s the best one here
wasn't that film a flop
At first. It gained some popularity after a bit
I'm not sure why that would be relevant. Jack Carter was a flop but it was a great film
Turning red even though it looks like A t-shirt my sister would wear in 2013
I really like the aesthetic of Luca, and I like that Pixar is exploring different cultures. Soul was also pretty good.
Soul!
Soul
I love all of these, but Lightyear is last on the list
Luca, he reminds me of my nephew
I know who it wasn't *cough* lightyear *cough*
Onward
Maybe it's because I'm a D&D nerd who watched it a couple months after my own dad died (while going in fairly blind), but Onward will always have a special place in my heart. It felt like a love letter to so many things all at once, and everyone's characterization was so very human. Literally everyone was just doing the best they could.
Luca is by far my favorite
Turning Red Onward Soul Luca Elemental Lightyear
My thoughts exactly
Onward better than Soul? Bro
Onward’s ending really touched me.
Different movies hit different people. I connected better with Onward and Turning Red, myself, and found their stories fresher, but that in no way diminishes Soul.
Soul and Elemental.
Soul, Elemental, Onward, Luca, Turning Red, Lightyear
Id say either Luca or Soul bc i didnt watch the others.
Honestly light year, Luca and soul were prtty good
Soul: really good and feels like older pixar Elemental: solid, but nothing special Turning red: fun to watch alone but very embarrassing to watch with others Lightyear: a fun time, and Sox is one of the best things to come from humanity. Onward and luca: just forgettable to me

I am biased but Turning Red.
Soul

Luca, but the others other than Lightyear were good
1. Soul 2. Elemental 3. Luca 4. Turning red 5. onward 6. Lightyear
Yeah I agree with this ranking
I think I enjoyed Elemental the most but Soul is objectively the better film
1.Soul 2.Luca 3.Turning Red 4.Onward 5.Lightyear I haven’t seen Elemental so I can’t really rank it
*Onward* was a surprisingly fun movie, and what little I've seen of *Elemental* has me wanting to go finish the rest at some point.
Luca for sure Onward I havent seen so cant judge it, soul didnt feel right throughout, lightyear never seen it, turning red saw enough to know it isnt that good. Elemental was a flop at the box offices for the most part.

Never judge a book by its cover.
[удалено]
Guessing you respect the effort and work put into them? Also: you need to watch a film all the way through before judging it, as you may find something you like about it.
[удалено]
What are the things you do like about them? Also, being a fan of animals (especially red pandas), I think you can tell which of those is my favourite?
I would say soul. But perhaps that's a bit of bias on my part since I watched the film a little after my grandparents passing
I’m so torn between Elemental and Turning Red, but I think I’m gonna have to go Elemental. It was just such a wonderful and powerful film
Soul and it's not even close
I honestly haven’t heard anything about these movies to make me want to check them out. Most of them I don’t even know exist
Welcome to the internet
only thing i haven't watched is lightyear and elemental
Soul. But I respect the hell outta band directors so that’s part of it
Onward is good but I can’t see myself watching it more than once. Hits too close to home. So it’s elemental for me
The funny thing about lightyear is that it has the most scientifically accurate time travel I’ve ever seen in a movie. Up until Zurg ends up being him from the future
Soul
Turning Red and Luca.
Elemental for me. Soul was okay
**ONWARD**
Soul
i still want to watch soul, but from what i remember elemental was ok and onward was decent, i feel like things have kind of gone downhill since the good dinosaur and inside out came out
havent seen any of these just wanted to say Soul looks like its ai generated
Red
Probably Soul.
Turning red
I haven’t seen Soul or Elemental, but I think Onward was very good
Soul or Onward. The rest are just okay.
Turning red, hands down
Soul is the best pixar movie to have come out in this decade
Can’t say cause I think all of em are absolute shit
Still good films, though?
Maybe to other people but I really don’t like any lol
Just because you don’t like a film doesn’t mean you can’t think it’s good.
I can and just did UwU
I haven’t seen any of these I keep meaning to tho
I don’t like any of them but the animation in Red was beautiful
Onward, Turning Red, and Luca for me. I am always interested in what your standard fantasy world would look like in the present, and Onward did that really well. I also really enjoyed that Manticore cop; she was hilarious!
Soul was amazing
All three on the right are decent at minimum. The left… need work, a couple need a lot of work. Onword has to be the best.
In order: Soul Luca Onward Elementals Turning red Light-year They are all A tier for me but I would rank them in this order.
Absolutely loved Soul
Liked all of em, but soul was the best imo
I think Soul is the best out of all of these, but Onward has a special place in my heart
I love Luca, I know most people didn’t really love it and found it just ok but I think it is my favorite Pixar solely because that movie reminds me so much of Studio Ghibli movies.
Soul and Onward are my personal favorites
Ok Soul is good quality wise and all but LUCA IS SO AMAZING OMG ITSELF SUCH A FEEL GOOD MOVIE AND I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH Also Turning Red gets way too much hate. That movie is GREAT and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
While they are all winners (yes, even Lightyear) gotta go with Soul. It’s probably the most mature film they’ve yet made
Soul all the way.
Soul became one of my favorite movies of all time and I feel like it came out at a time when we needed it most.
Soul is definitely the best one out of these but Luca is my favorite. I love my potentially vaguely queer fishes
I really like Soul and Luca.
I love Onward, Soul, and Luca. I hate Turning Red, Lightyear, and Elemental.
Why do you hate those three?
https://i.redd.it/f08wa65awk2d1.gif
Soul, I like turning red just fine, but Soul definitely
Turning Red
Soul
Soul and Luca. Luca was such a a small story for all the big life events happening at the time. Watched it so many times with my sun
Soul by far, is objectively the best movie they’ve done the last years. I really liked Turning Red and Elemental, they’re both good movies. Onward and Luca were pretty meh to me, and I haven’t seen Lightyear yet.
Soul ITS PEAK IM TELLING YOU
Overall execution wise I think Soul is the best one, but my personal favorite is Luca by far
Luca. The correct answer to this is Luca.
Soul. Luca and Onward are also pretty good, I haven’t seen Turning Red or Elemental, and Lightyear is the only movie here that I dislike.
Luca
Soul Is a close second
Luca or soul, im leaning towards soul. As for onward, turning red and elemental I wasn’t a fan of them I thought they were pretty cringe actually. And I never watched lightyear so opinion N/A.
Turning Red is a goat...I mean panda
I really enjoyed Turning red it was really cute and the hate was way over blown. Even my conservative seemed to enjoy it.
I’m gonna go with Soul.
I love turning red, Luca, and soul, but God soul really was the big one
I enjoyed them all aside from lightyear. But if I have to choose a favorite then probably Onward. I play dnd and so that made it stand out.
Light-year if the frames were slowed down. What a weird experience watching that move it, whose choice was it to put a theatrical release on fast forward mode.
Soul was a diamond in the rough
1. Luca: I just love it, it reminds me when I've gone to Lisbon in 2023 2. Soul: Such a good story to it, I love the music to it 3. Onward: Really, really underrated. I like Ian and Barley better 4. Elemental: I love the detail to it, nice. I love the Steal the Show song. 5. Lightyear: OK, but a lot gay, just OK 6. Turning Red: I JUST HATE IT!!! MY LEAST FAVOURITE SCENE IS THE FINAL BOSS!!! DO NOT MENTION IT WHEN YOU REPLY TO ME!!!!!!!!! Sorry for being rude
Turning Red is great, my man. I mean, how can you not love a giant, fluffy red panda?
Onward is the only one I seen , so Onward
Soul, Luca and Onward were my favorites my main one though is Onward.
Luca. Soul is good too. Lightyear was mid. The rest was dogshit
Turning Red is dogshit? Nu-uh bro, that one is good.
Turning red is the worst movie out of the list. The amount of cringe that Pixar managed to put into that movie is straight up unphatomable
The cringe-ness makes the movie realistic and relatable to tween/teen girls. It's also charming in a way.
Guessing that’s not to say it’s a bad film?
Didn’t like any.
Tell me you’re not a Pixar fan without telling me.
I like some of their movies like most of the Toy Story movies, The Incredibles, Ratatouille and Up. But I'm not a fan.
Soul and onward struck different heart strings. Haven’t seen Luca yet, was that worth a watch?
haven't seen any of these
Onward but Soul is a close second. Haven't seen Lightyear and I'm not in a big hurry to.
Onward or Elemental. Never saw the latter but heard from people it's a sleeper hit. Enjoyed the former a ton as it felt more like a Modern Tabletop RPG, cept the modernized city is built on the ruins of temple's and dungeons or repurposed them to other facilities... Literally NONE .
