I haven’t worked at cerner for 3 years now but for the past decade companies have been trying to offset their carbon emissions by planting trees or paying a company to plant trees based on the amount of co2 they release.
It’s a scam and hasn’t fixed the main issue of the increase in carbon emissions released by the world’s largest companies. Maybe this is oracle pretending they are also green, without actually giving its employees a pay raise!
