imlachyyy

actually love this bloke raw talented and loves the club

BogotaLineman

And he's a bit of a shithouse... I love that Him shushing the spurs fans after every goal in one of the most dubious hat tricks of all time lmao. Incrediblem

DanStFella

Erm the Siu after the Hattrick needs inclusion here. That was peak shithousery too.

BogotaLineman

Holy shit I forgot about the siu Doing that after a hat trick from a cumulative distance of 12yds against a team with 9 men playing a suicidally high line after missing several great chances earlier in the game...

imlachyyy

Nothing has sent me more last season than nicos shithousery loved every minute of it and we need a character like him after rudi left and even further back as costa

Dangerous-Ad-2297

Very happy with him, one of my favourites. He is hard working, talented and determined to prove himself as a solid striker. People have been too harsh on him. For the price we paid we got a good player.

oat38

He wasn't that expensive considering today's market. Overall it has been a good signing and hopefully he continues to improve!

Baisabeast

Genuine bargain considering the striker market now

per102

I am a huge Nicolas Jackson fan, looking at the current striker market he is probably one of our best transfers in the 2020s.

xStealthxUk

I agree. Everytime Chelsea "end interest" in random overpriced striker I just think , Nico is better anyway. He misses chances sure but the guys all round game is honestly quality and best 9 wev had since Diego. Fact Hes 22 just makes me really excited for the future!!

peepo_7

The disrespect to Giroud

xStealthxUk

Lets be real. He was a good hold up player and scored some big goals for us and a good cup option , but he was mainly a plan B option and he only scored 17 goals in 75 prem games for us. Nico has 14 in 35 games in prem and hes actually mobile

peepo_7

He was great in Europa and CL, a lot of fault also goes with the coaches to not let him start that much. Hazard worked the best beside him, so did Pulisic. We struggled a lot after Diego and were always rotating between Morata, Batshuai, Drinkwater, Bakayako. Giroud waited with patience. In the hindsight it worked out well for both of us. His entire run during Europa and CL, were completely worth it

xStealthxUk

I like Giroud , im not disrespecting him by sayin I think Nico is a better all round 9 option.

Starn_Badger

Exactly, Giroud was exactly what we needed at the time and he was always a pretty good striker. But honestly I think Jackson is a better all round player. His energy and dynamism absolutely opens up defences, as good as Cole is he's undoubtedly benefited from having a player like jackson in front of him who is always willing to run and cause chaos.

peepo_7

I like Jackson myself, I missed him when he was at AFCON. His link up play is great, though he lacks finishing. But I do feel that he needs a more experienced striker alongside him to get some competition and improve, plus we will have a lot of matches in the coming season so need a lot more depth.

poopy_toaster

I’m high on him too, I think he will be a player for us.

MitchPosuniak

If his composure and finishing can catch up to his dribbling, hold up play, relentlessness he’ll go straight to the top

Starn_Badger

Honestly second half of the season he looked a lot better. Still a couple of fluffed chances but every striker has those, most of the howlers were in the first half season. Post AFCON I can only think of a handful, while he's buried quite a few awkward chances I wouldn't have expected him to.

BogotaLineman

The "big chances missed" table for attackers usually lines up pretty damn closely to the top goalscorer table. Something I think more people need to remember more often

ImmaMoo

People treat G/A like gold. For example for both Man U games Jackson was destroying them putting the ball over defenders heads winning fouls creating chances, but no G/A. At the same time a player can be in bad form and still scam an assist or a tap in.

BogotaLineman

Nico gets a respectable amount of goals and assists on top of doing so much of the dirty/unsexy work. I really like him a lot. If he can continue to develop and clean up his finishing a little bit he will be a top striker. Really glad to have him

rnoori32

Love this man to bits.

CicadaRegular7899

Bald Nico is a beast!

Mr-Uneasy

I love Nico, If nothing else, he’s so fun to watch

Starn_Badger

Exactly lol. Proper character on the pitch, always gives it his all. Not perfect of course but he's young, hungry, skillful and has a bit of that crackhead energy i love to see in a striker.

Mr-Uneasy

Plus he improves, was worried on his heading, scored a couple of headers, worried about his discipline, evades cards for a good run. If he gets his shot power and then composure, nothing will stop him from being the best.

brightcrayon92

Where is the suiiii against spurs?

RasenRendan

This player gets to much hate for the numbers he put up. He done far better than our two expensive signings in lukaku and kai

mysterymanatx

We were wondering where the cunt is when Rudi left and he’s right here 🥲

[deleted]

Yes this is a repost I fixed spelling mistakes

-AndreiDG-97

Can't wait for everybody in this sub to turn against him at the first chance missed 1 v 1.

[deleted]

Lol real. Tbf all I've seen on instagram and now on here is support now tho. He seems to be a fan favorite almost

NavyBabySeal

Honestly the first game i saw him play (don't know that it was his first game for us cause i have to admit i followed very little at the start of the season on top of having endured some of Graham Potters tenure..), i thought he was truly special. He has insane ability and potential at his current age. Im excited for the upcoming season, seeing how well Palmer, him, Noni and Nkunku can start to link up. It ended very well imo.

jbi1000

Love this dude and he is going to keep getting better and better. The biggest factor in whether someone with the raw talent that Nico has actually pushes onto to the next level is their mentality and I think Nico has a great mentality. He has an unshakeable confidence, he's hardworking and he's the team hype man. Love the way he shushed the crowd vs, Spurs, Leeds and Villa when he was getting stick from them.

Headlesshorsman02

I have high hopes for Jackson this season, hopefully with another year under his belt and acclimated to the league his BCM will go down a bit because outside of that he is a complete striker and a great asset for the team

democi

How does his style suit Omari Kellyman? Do you think they’re complementary?

HarryDaz98

It doesn’t matter, Kellyman is playing 100 minutes all season at the very most.

InsuranceAny4285

His goal against Everton isn’t talked about enough and it makes me wonder if I’m over reacting but that shit was world class to me

pek_starter_1234

Great player but unfortunately too many on this sub and in the footballing world focused on the few clips of him missing.

jaytcfc

Good signing for the money.

jolle2001

Him suiing the Spurs supporters after one of the worst hattricks I have ever seen was beautiful and proper shithousing

Faeluchu

Short hair Jackson >>> silly hair Jackson

Rishi___P

Shithousery

JT26_CLL

It's been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride if i were to sum up Jackson's time so far.

sahhhnnn

The perception of Jackson is wildly different between social media platforms

[deleted]

Agree, although ig comments and all these comments seem to support him

Massive-Nights

Got high hopes for him next season. Was a great first season in the PL considering his age/actual professional experience (even more so considering how little he played striker). I do expect a good step-up, though, this upcoming season.

DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit

[deleted]

But always a sexy beast😈

BiriZeusit

Does anyone know how his fitness situation is looking? He was injured with Senegal right??

RealRubies

I'm here for him💙💙💙💙

DronzerDribble

I've criticised you a lot Nico. Prove me wrong yet again.

Gillbro

Roll the clips of him missing sitters

[deleted]

Yeah let's not talk about him having 23 g/a at 22 years old after his first season in the PL. Let's just shit on him instead He was playing without shoes not too long ago😹

haha_amirite

NICOOOO 💙💙💙

Wannabe__geek

I saw on ESPN that Chelsea are considering adding to isak deal. That would be madness. I’m assuming ESPN is being useless as usual

Samuel_avlonitis

Absolutely love him, always appreciate a player who works hard and turns things around from a poor start.

TheJames2290

Nico is going to be special. How many lads come into the premier league and achieve what he did in his first season at his age. If he works on his finishing could be scoring what he did in the first half of each season.
