Maybe I'm preaching to the choir here but the TMNT Batman crossover was legit an incredibly awesome comic. It's what turned me on to James Tynion IV, something I haven't regretted.
Nah, it was just good comic book fun. Got him a run on detective comics, and then batman, both of which imo were stellar. He started doing the horror stuff after (which is *also* stellar, and I don't usually care for horror)
Did I just miss the solicitation for the first issue last month? I went back and looked at March Previews and didn't see it, but the April Previews has the solicitation for issue #2.
Now I have to wonder if each turtle is going to have a corresponding shotokan fighter to accompany them on their covers. Michelangelo impressing Ken with a nunchakus spinning shoryuken would be pretty neat to see. Akuma and Raphael feels like a no-brainer, which would leave Dan Hibiki and Donatello, which feels like the martial arts version of The Odd Couple.
