Everything we saw on the surface of their social medias and their speeches is only the tip of the iceberg for what they discussed in private and are trying to achieve.

relightit

so true. i have seen the mask slip off first hand on a few occasions ; attendees implying they were on some newsletter . basically they want to take control forever, get rid of the dems.like bloody gleeful naughty boys, given the bloody murder talks. they still think they won and "culture" will turn in their favor anytime now. whistleblowers/investigative journalists should get in there to get the story already.

h20poIo

The court Republicans are bought and paid for, I have no respect for their decisions, they’re corrupt and the House Republicans don’t care, most are pro Putin.

pekak62

Protecting Ginni Thomas.

T1Pimp

>And the Supreme Court may prevent us from ever knowing it. And *the conservatives on* the Supreme Court may prevent us from ever knowing it. fixed it.

LetmeSeeyourSquanch

The supreme court justices that were placed by Trump need to be look at under a microscope and Thomas and Alito both need to be investigated.

DOORMANLIKE

Time for a protest

OkImagination4404

That’s really what this country needs to do. Everyone needs to go out and protest, but for some reason Americans never do this.

ketjak

Fear. If we take time off, we'll get fired. If we post "Anti-semitism is bad and so is bombing food convoys," we get fired. If we get fired, we lose health insurance (if we have any), income, and we _might_ have a few months' unemployment insurance which amounts to a fraction of a week's worth of pay. It's one reason folks in power, especially conservatives, pushed so hard to get us back to work - we had time on our hands and damn near caused a revolution over one, really big and still just one, social issue. Making us commute again, spend eight hours plus lunch (IF we get a lunch breakper state law, and/or aren't a minor they want to deny lunch breaks) in a chair or standing at a line monitored by IT and cameras, exhausting us so we spend our time off consuming propaganda and fearing what happens when our bills are paid or someone dents our car or (God forbid) _we have to go to the ER_ and, even with insurance for the car and health, we still end up having to choose between rent and, well, anything else. In the _best_ of circumstances. So, yeah. Let's go protest. Believe me, I wish we could and I did during the pandemic, but I have a family to feed.

Pressblack

I hear you and all but just know that some of us never stopped working, weren't confined to our houses, and have never stopped commuting to work, more than 8 hours a day, rearranging our lives around it. Maybe see things from another perspective for a moment before you try to stage a protest.

ketjak

I don't follow your point. Are you saying we are _not_ deterred from protesting due to fear of losing everything? Ir that you're protesting deapite working every day and "commuting to work, more than 8 hours a day?" Anyone who commutes more than 8 hours a day to put in a day's work is... well, I'm not sure if "desperate" is strong enough.

DOORMANLIKE

Where are the progressive organizations at? The right seems to get together on some stupid shit. Why can we join together for an actual cause?

unpolishedparadigm

I’ve been trying to drum up interest in a digital grass roots operation to counter Project 2024 for months. Got it all figured out and ready to go. I thought I was going to have to make it invite only because, so I thought, online keyboard warriors, would leap at the opportunity to make an actual difference and I didn’t want too many cooks in the kitchen.. Even the most insightful comments that you see where people have clearly put a lot of effort into informing themselves and thinking carefully about issues- 99% people just want to talk about it. A consistent few hours a week is apparently too much of an ask

BayouGal

There’s a sub Stop Project 2025. They have a Discord. They do seem to be trending towards action. I’ve been collecting resources & information to support stopping the red party, Pootin’ loving MAGA lunatic fringe.

unpolishedparadigm

Exactly what I was looking for. Now that rightists are showing their colors taking away rights, people are starting to pay attention

BlastedSandy

I don’t know, people get gassed and mowed down by rubber bullets when they try to protest in this country, yeah for some reason people don’t like being shot, beaten, gassed, and getting arrested for the notorious crime of resisting arrest……..

DOORMANLIKE

Even more reason to protest

Informal-Bicycle-349

Vote.

ElevenEleven1010

Clarence Thomas DEFINITELY doesn't want you ever knowing !!!

WhoIsJolyonWest

I never thought I would agree with a Cheney but she continues to surprise me.

EggplantGlittering90

Hows that nuking the supreme court?

Apprehensive-Bike307

She needs to shut up. If it wasn't for previous waves of traitors like her we wouldn't be stuck with our current set of traitors.

New-Understanding930

I’m not shitting on Liz after she held the line on the impeachment.

maybetheresarabbit

But you totally should. Stopping a car right before it goes over the edge is laudatory, but she was a part of how it got on that track in the first place. These people think we need to be ruled and administered. They are patronizing and infantilizing us even though they really aren’t necessarily smarter or better. They just stole all the resources.

HauntingArugula3777

such as? The hearing for the Jan 6th eouoent have happened without her ... Or is that part of her treason?

Soranic

It would have happened. She made it bipartisan. She voted for his policies over 90% of the time. She supported him. That she had a line which she wouldn't compromise doesn't absolve her of the previous 4 years.

caveatlector73

Sorry, but that could be said of every politician ever. The people that scare me are the ones that wouldn't know a line if they tripped over it. And that goes for any and all sides.

HauntingArugula3777

Those are the policies of the party ... how are they treasonous? That's some magical thinking that goes from policies that are bad to treason ... sounds a lot like Trump ... enemy of the state ... everyone that doesn't agree with me is a traitor. This fanatical absolutism is what drives people away from the politics that are the easy route ... their/her politics are bad mine are better, let me show/tell you what we did/will do for you ... nope instead mimic trump and drive voters away, stay at home or to magical third party.

Verried_vernacular32

This!

caveatlector73

You are confusing MAGA with conservatives like Cheney. She's fighting hard for democracy. Good enough for me.

BlastedSandy

Cheney was a trump monkey through and through, she’s only turned against them because the insurrection failed… “I’m playing both sides, that way I always come out on top.” If you think that Liz Cheney isn’t 100% on board with selling out this entire country out to the same mentality ill billionaire parasites that trump and company are planning on selling us out to, then you’re part of the reason why we’re totally fucked no matter what happens….

caveatlector73

I stay far away from conspiracy theorists. They are dangerous.

WyoPeeps

Just a friendly reminder that prior to J6 Liz voted with Trump 96% of the time. She ABSOLUTELY shares his ideals and is MUCH smarter than him making her more dangerous. Liz also doesn't do anything unless it benefits her directly, so take anything she says with a huge rick of salt. Signed- A former Liz Constiutent.

rhino910

which make's Liz's condemnations of Trump all the more damning

WyoPeeps

I think you're missing my point. As I stated, she doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit her in some way. She is only speaking out because it benefits her and not the American people. All of this while still promoting stupid right wing ideals that take us backwards, instead of forward. She isn't a hero, she's a horrible person who will say or do anything to get ahead.

OkImagination4404

I agree I would be down with that. I wish we would do some thing that would involve the whole country. I think we need to make a huge statement.

Verried_vernacular32

She’s just mad they don’t let her play anymore. If she was still allowed at the table she’d be happy.

Dcajunpimp

Well except she was outspoken about Trump's J6 bullshit since before they primaried her.

Dolorisedd

No

Verried_vernacular32

I didn’t say she was wrong I just find her disingenuous.

caveatlector73

Unless she is one of your besties you really don't know. She can't play anymore because she wouldn't Sieg Heil. How disingenuous can you get right?

rhino910

>Judicial Watch uncovers proof that the CIA was involved during J6. This is just another fact that the illegitimate J6 Kangaroo committee failed to find or more likely disclose. ROTFLMAO! I appreciate this post was intended to spread anti-American disinformation, but I couldn't stop laughing after I read that.

xcrunner1988

Sure Jan.
