It seems hardly anyone understands all of the ways the news can be faked, how many people there are between an event occurring and that event being publicized (like a game of telephone), or that virtually all media outlets push a narrative and are therefore completely untrustworthy.

Why is it our job to be the world protectors? Like Ukraine, they had time since they became a country up until Russia attacked to build up an arsenal of their own. So why are we taking on the responsibility of saving them because they didn’t bother to prepare for the future themselves? America should not be the world police or protectors, should we help to a point in some situations? Yes, but not to the level that we buy ourselves into other countries problems. On a citizen basis, Israel has a technologically advanced market economy with numerous civilian cooperations from Health to loads of R&D owned by American companies operating their.
On a state level, Israel is a western aligned state with U.S./West interests over the region without necessarily having the West directly involved. Ex. 1980 destruction of the Iraqi nuclear proliferation program. Same with the destruction of Syrians Nuclear program just a decade ago (Imagine Bashar Assad with Nukes...)
Israel isn't unique in that regard and on the same level of Western alliances such as Japan or South Korea.
