Serbia's general policy is not to provoke any major regional or world powers, while trying to gain concessions from them all, and at the same time its authoritarian government uses threats like this to worry either the pro-Western and pro-Russian section of society depending on the situation.

They need a reason to cancel the election. And the Supreme Court ruling could be used to justify all kinds of unusual behavior from the sitting President. Any major war ramping up could be used to cancel the election and retain power. It's not that far-fetched even though it sounds like it is.

I didn’t mentioned WW3 *specifically* cause I don’t believe the potential upcoming attack will be a catalyst for a world war. I’m saying that NATO intel probably has good reason to believe US military bases will be attacked considering the evidence presented above. Hope this clears things up

Previous to the new theater of war being occupied, US military wasn't so concentrated around eastern Europe.
