The first guy rapping was boring as hell. The second rapper seemed like they tried a little harder. Still not the worst music I've heard, and the production was actually good.

Eh, I like older future, but I will say that at least mainstream rap exists in a way where the genre is growing and changing over time. If it wasn't for aautotune, changes in beats and such, we would still just be hearing repetitive boom-bap songs with people rapping about how good they are at rapping or braggadocious gangster rap. I love 90s rap too, but if the genre never expanded from that, the genre would be so boring and dead.

The first guy rapping was boring as hell. The second rapper seemed like they tried a little harder. Still not the worst music I've heard, and the production was actually good. Does it suck? Maybe. Was it one of the most boring hip hop songs I've ever heard? Yes, it's the rap equivalent of butt rock.

Eh, I like older future, but I will say that at least mainstream rap exists in a way where the genre is growing and changing over time. If it wasn't for aautotune, changes in beats and such, we would still just be hearing repetitive boom-bap songs with people rapping about how good they are at rapping or braggadocious gangster rap. I love 90s rap too, but if the genre never expanded from that, the genre would be so boring and dead. Sadly, the genre that has all but disappeared from the mainstream is just good rock music. The radio stations back in the day played great alt rock, guitar based music from the 60s through to the 2000s. Now, what is there? Imagine dragons or something?
