I doubt any would approve you without a payslip
I did find Amex was really quick to approve my husband who’s still a graduate. They didn’t even ask how long he has been working.
I’d just apply to Amex as soon as you get your first payslip (they only asked for one payslip)
The Qantas Amex Ultimate. He let them set the credit limit. He applied Sunday night and was approved and card on the way by Monday afternoon
ETA: correction Monday was approval, Thursday is card on the way
Some banks want to see several payslips so you may need to wait a few months. It's probably better to consider which card you want and then ask them about eligibility requirements and how many payslips are needed.

Thanks for the info!! Will definitely try! Would you mind sharing which card your husband applied for? Cheers :)

I just moved back from UK after 10+ years abroad. Got denied from ANZ. They need proof of salary for 3 months minimum.
