Thats crazy, my grandparents come from Slovenia and bought two of his paintings, so im actully looking at one of his paintings right now.
Edit: I asked my grandparents about him. He was living on the countryside in slovenia and working in a hospital during the night, doing autopsies. They said the Bird was handraised by him and was his only company during the nights. Thats the reason why all his paintings are so dark and depressing.
Oh man, that’s really cool that they own some of his paintings! I wonder what the bird’s name was. My boyfriend introduced me to him and I was particularly impressed that some of the paintings appeared to be based on observations of crow funerals.
