Posted last night looking for help for a crow that was in a bad way. Sadly he passed in the night. Buried him near where I found him in a little clearing in the woods between two trees. Just wanted to share some closure and thank folks for the advice/suggestions last night.
Sadly, nature can be cruel and ran its course. You are an amazing soul for trying to help and I hope you take comfort in knowing that you eased his passing by not being left alone 🖤
Do you live in Georgia, by any chance? That ground foliage looks awfully familiar. You got some English ivy here and there, but I also see a few spots of poison ivy, as well. Be careful!
Man, I learned the hard way one too many times! The last time I got it, I had it everywhere. Head to toe. And when I say “everywhere”, I mean EVERYWHERE. Yep, even there. So effin’ miserable! I had to go to the VA emergency room to get steroids for it.
Crows themselves actually dislike burials and like to be able to watch their members go back to the earth, just for the future.
You can move them to the clearing/safe place with a plant ect and some food offering for those who visit and they'll love you for it.
This is beautiful though 💚

Thank you so much for caring enough to try to help him 🖤
Always sad. Grateful for your care and connectedness to these friends and neighbors of ours.

DC, yea familiar with the 3 leafed devil. Always wear long pants in the woods, even the tickets are nasty here. Learned from experience.
