They could use USB drives to download movies on. Any extra cables would be extremely grateful. I imagine best way would be to donate to cleaner on your first day.
I have a driver who takes me to the peadiatric hospital in Matanzas when I go with medical supplies. My community often loads me up with feminine hygiene products and other supplies that he shares around and takes what’s left to Boca de Camarioca to be distributed. I quite often give people his number to organize donation runs and I send things for his family when I can. His wife and children would probably love to have an iPad if you want to call him when you get there he will pick it up, bonus if you need to go anywhere, you could arrange it at the same time.

USB drives are always useful, and an ipad is like a dream for many Cubans. Housekeeping staff at the resorts already have giant piles of stuff. Try to find a kid who doesn't already have a device. Or a school might be an option.
The only problem with iOS devices is that the apple store blocks Cuban devices and is unavailable in Cuba without a VPN. Make sure to install a working free VPN before you arrive, to make it easier to install apps.
These people might be able to place an ipad for you. [https://www.instagram.com/corazonconcuba/](https://www.instagram.com/corazonconcuba/)
[Cuba Libro](https://www.cubalibrohavana.com/) in Havana is another org that can help.
Make sure it is removed from your iCloud account (Disable Find My). Apple devices are a bit of a hassle in Cuba since the AppStore is not available but people have found ways around that.

Housekeepers get so much stuff and tips already. Better to seek out others in need.
Good point
Remember to remove the iCloud Lock.
Give it to a young teen or a student
