Naaaah. If my hair looked this good without product, I wouldn't out any in it!! Saves money and time! ✨ You can though if you want to experiment. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Realistic-Iron523

Thanks I’m not too sure what to do since my hair is not that long - around 3 inches in length, I will probably grow another inch and then idk if I should use a curl cream or whatever since my hair does look slightly dry and a bit frizzy

Substantial-Bug-8402

Yeah! If you want to try something, I'd start with something light like a light curl cream or a foam. Everyone's hair is unique so feel free to test out what works for you if you do want to try product. 😊 I think it would be hard to go wrong because it's looking really good already!

forgotmyusernameha

Your curls look great without product!

Realistic-Iron523

Thx

Routine: Moroccanoil hydrating shampoo and conditioner 1x a week and Shea moisture leave in conditioner after using shampoo and conditioner I have low porosity 3a hair if that helps I didn’t even know I had curly hair until I started growing it out from a buzzcut 6 months ago, also switched to a sulfate free shampoo, conditioner and also bought a silk pillowcase

Based on these pictures, the only suggestion i would make is to try a comb or brush to encourage more consistent clumping and reduce frizz. I use the shine enhancing wet brush and it makes a huge difference.

Realistic-Iron523

What kind of brush or comb could I use? There’s too many different types and Idk what one is best If you could provide a link to a good brush or comb that would be great thanks

Pamijay

Only comb or brush with wet hair!

[Shine Enhancer Wet Brush](https://www.sallybeauty.com/tools-and-brushes/brushes-and-combs/hair-brushes/shine-enhancer-brush-pink/SBS-001453.html) is what i use and i absolutely love it. I get really nice shine, definition and little to no frizz. Another option would be a wide tooth comb like [this](https://www.sallybeauty.com/tools-and-brushes/brushes-and-combs/hair-combs/wide-tooth-pastel-comb/SBS-680070.html). I feel obligated to also mention the [Denman Brush](https://www.sallybeauty.com/tools-and-brushes/brushes-and-combs/hair-brushes/d3-original-7-row-styling-brush-gloss-black/SBS-103200.html). It’s a holy grail for a lot of people with your curl type ETA: For the sake of simplicity, I would go with the Shine Enhancer.

If you're interested, I think a serum might help them shine better. Argan oil is a favourite. Overall though, they're fantastic as is!

Realistic-Iron523

Thanks for the advice, would I apply the oil to my hair everyday or would I only do it on wash days? Also would I need to wash it out later on or is it ok to sleep with it?

Krissei

Oils are most often a leave in treatment, so dont worry about washing it out. I'd do it on wash days, or when you reset your curls between washes. Honestly i think a little would go a long way since your hair is already quite healthy and shiny.

Substantial-Bug-8402

Yeah! If you want to try something, I'd start with something light like a light curl cream or a leaving or even a mousse/phone. Everyone's hair is unique so feel free to test out what works for you if you do want to try product. 😊

Fearless_Possible_98

honestly it looks great without any! If you want to try you could add some like frizz control products if you want.

UsTaalper

try oil after showering! it really helps with frizz and you can try to experiment with other products too but i think oil is a good starting point

Realistic-Iron523

Thx I will try it out, what kind of oil could I use though?
