You don't need evasion when you have protection from Magic the Gathering. Assuming that would include creatures printed in Magic at least.
The bad news is this isn't playable as a commander since you can't play land from the command zone. (Okay, you technically CAN get it out, but it's much harder)
Command Beacon is one of those ways. But you might as well just be running God in the 99 then.
Hushbringer doesn't actually work since God's ability isn't actually an ETB.
Based on the way the “win the game” ability is worded, it’s not actually an activated ability, so Agatha’s Soul Cauldron doesn’t work. You’d need something that can either copy its static abilities somehow or become a copy of it, but it can’t enter the battlefield as a copy or copy something on the battlefield.
It does, but activated abilities in Magic take the format of : , such as R, T: ~ deals 1 damage to any target. So you pay one Red mana and two the permanent to activate its ability and, once activated, the permanent deals 1 damage to a target of your choice. That was just an example but it gets across the idea of what an activated ability is.
The ability in question isn’t really worded in a way that fits any of the Magic abilities but it is closest to a static ability. Another comment mentioned that making this a static ability with the right wording (which I think this card almost has) would make the ability work as a special action, like Morph, and would allow it to be activated at anytime and not have to use the stack, thus evading things like Split Second.
You can word the fourth ability: "You may win the match any time."
This makes it a special action like morph, which doesn't use the stack and works vs split second.
Funly enough any numbers that can't be precisely calculated for any reason are treated as zero. So despite there being well over 20 atoms in the universe, this would be a 0/0 creature.
The thing is, we don't know if the number of atoms is even or odd.
So if this guy was on the field and sacrficed to say \[\[Diamond Valley\]\], and I had a
\[\[Heartless Hidetsugu\]\] with \[\[Overblaze\]\], we couldn't determine who lives.
So even thoughly the power is "more than enough", the game can't handle it.
Then what happens if they untap Hidetsugu again? Was the number of atoms initially divisible by 4, 8, 16? We can't play out the game state accurately without a precise number.
It doesn't matter if there are players would would run this combo, only that the game can't handle such an effect.
Is there an actual rule or card that you are getting this ruling from? I’ve never heard of this before and also I’m not sure what existing cards would be impacted by such a rule.
Citation for that rule, please. I know that's true for negative numbers under normal circumstances, but I've never heard that apply to incalculable numbers.

Because it has a nonexistent mana cost, you can't turn it face-up if you Manifest or Cloak it. At least, not without some assistance, such as [[Skirk Alarmist]] or [[Expose the Culprit]].
I'll activate his instant win ability in response to him being cast from my hand, but before it touches the battle field. Either that or the ability activates in response to him being exiled
If we want this silly card to work within the rules, change the line of text about protection to instead read "Indestructible, Protection from everything." I'm pretty sure that would fit on one line and both of those abilities are perfectly kosher on real magic cards.
So, you can't play it? Because then you would exile it and rip the card up? And it's technically a zero zero because you can't precisely determine its power and toughness. It tricks you into thinking it's a stupid op card, but it actually sucks.
Not really accurate to the Mythology. Would have loved to see more nuance, otherwise the cycle might end up overly centralized and we'll be in an Abrahamic Meta.
I think either [[Lazav, the Multifarious]] or [[Lazav, Wearer of Faces]] work with this and a discard outlet to just win

I think for the same reason you cannot have an infinite combo, you simply loop an large number of times. cards and actions need a set amount
