Might be misreading but I'm pretty sure Monumental doesn't say you can only have one copy of each Monumental card in your deck, it says you can *only have one Monumental card in your deck.* So if there's any Monumental card you want in your deck more than this one you have to choose between them, can't have both.
It would only be allowed in 5-color decks.
903.5d: A card with a basic land type may be included in a Commander deck only if each color of mana it could produce is included in the commander's color identity.
As a characteristic defining ability it would be effective even off the battlefield or even during deck construction.

just copy-pasting my response from another spot -
as evidenced by simple examples, like Changelings being put into play by [[Winota]], or [[Burakos]] allowing you to use [[Harper Recruiter]] to put him into hand from top four, character defining abilities are always in effect regardless of a card's zone.
edit: I stand corrected
Doesn’t have basic land types until it’s on the battlefield. In the library it’s just a legendary land. I think the idea is that you tutor this with [[archdruid’s charm]] or something similar, and yeah it turns on domain, but it’s hella-vulnerable to [[Field of Ruin]] thanks to the lack of redundancy.
I’m not super familiar with modern, but it seems fine enough. Is domain really that strong in the meta?

Similar to maze of ith, it feels like an artifact that eats up a land drop. Or even if you have Urza out, you can just immediately tap it for U mana anyways and don't experience the downside, and instead just ramp for free every turn (but that speaks moreso to how broken Urza is.)
[[Hall of Tagsin]]
[[The shire]]
[[Heap gate]]
[[Mines of Moria]]
[[Voldaren estate]]
These are the only other lands that can repeatedly create non-creature tokens. Makes me feel like the treasure one is relatively fair, especially considering ancient tomb as well (hence the card's name), but the food token one might be a bit strong, depending on how severe of a drawback being unable to tap for mana without saccing food token is. [[Gilded goose]] does a good job of showing how much this kind of effect was originally costed at, but seeing as it was way too weak for modern, I think the only real worry is if repeatedly creating food is abusable. Probably a really fair card that could be printed in standard and then end up banned in modern and legacy before it rotated.
Seems like it, since its worded like the changeling rules text. Its an innate quality, not an effect gained on etb. Imo it might be a bit of a brain dead include unless other monumental cards are worth the trade.
1: Seems generally pretty underwhelming as a mana source, but as a creator of artifacts, it does great.
2: Same as above, but for math nerds.
3: Seems like the conclusion of the inevitable cold war that Wizards is having against powercreep. best card of 2071, as designed by Hasbro's AI and powered by the disembodied head of the Richard Garfield-Mark Rosewater clone.
I thought we all agreed that we wouldn't name posts things that could be mistaken for real spoilers.
Cuz, no, these aren't MH3 lands. Why not "I'd love to have these in modern" or "how would these work in modern?"
Those look really fun. The last one seems far to overpowered though, especially with fetch lands.
And it would be an auto include in commander

My interpretation is that you can’t have more than one physical magic card with the monumental keyword in your deck
Precisely, so you must choose between them. Like choosing between different commanders or companions.
command tower ain’t breaking shit
The issue is both domain and fetchlands, which means that you’re guaranteed to draw this at some point
Only in 5C, since basic land types give colour identity.
It would only be allowed in 5-color decks. 903.5d: A card with a basic land type may be included in a Commander deck only if each color of mana it could produce is included in the commander's color identity.
Am I crazy or would it not be fetchable since the ability wouldn’t be in play while it’s in a deck?
As a characteristic defining ability it would be effective even off the battlefield or even during deck construction. https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Characteristic-defining_ability
Wow, today I learned 🌈
Can you fetch it? It doesnt have the land types in the type line.

I like the idea of monumental. Sorta brings back the old school rules of magic
I think it ought to be a super type. Like Monument Land. And then just the rules are you can only have one monument
I like monumental also. I may steal the word.
A land that taps to make an artifact seems busted. Would be a fun card
Similar to maze of ith, it feels like an artifact that eats up a land drop.
