Algarth and Solphirn are probably fine, but I’d argue the others are too strong. Artificial Island stands out because it seems objectively (and significantly!) better than [[Volcanic Island]], which is already *incredibly* strong. I do like some of these ideas a lot though; Darwin seems fun if a bit too strong, and it’s cool that Algarth’s abilities change when he becomes a creature.

>it seems objectively (and significantly!) better than Volcanic Island It's also an objectively (and significantly) better [[Ancient Tomb]], which is also nuts. Both on one card, with a bunch more abilities, is an unhinged design. Genuinely disconnected from what makes a fair or balanced card _at all_.

Artificial island is broken, Darwin seems like he'd be in a similar view of power as [urzas, Lord high artificer], and solphim seems ok as long as a "gold pile token" is the same as a gold token. The rest seemed fine

Inf4myst00ps

I would recommend using treasure instead of gold simply because that's what wizards is moved away from. Is gold is only on two cards? The tapping to have it work seems to play a part.

M1necra

Gold is just a worse version of treasure. It does the same thing but can't be used to cast spells. I had planned to use gold a good bit so I made it worse than treasure to try and nerf some of the cards in the future

Inf4myst00ps

Gold is a pre-existing token in magic only used on two cards that is the same as treasure except you don't have to tap it just so you know. You might want to create a token when you upload cards so that we know what your gold token does

Before getting into balance, these are riddled with formatting and wording errors. **Darwin, Master of Metal** Whenever Darwin, Master of Metal or another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, create a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token with flying. Artifact creatures you control get +1/+2 and have vigilance. Tap an untapped artifact you control: Add {U} or {R}. *Is it balanced?* It's pretty strong, but at least it doesn't have a built-in mana sink ability like Urza, Lord High Artificer. **The Great Compound of Algarth** Artifact spells and Artificer spells you cast cost {X} less to cast, where X is the number of Monuments you control. *Is it balanced?* That mostly depends on how strong the other Monuments are. This one seems fine. **Artificial Island** {T}: Add {U} or {R}. {T}: Add {C}{C}. {C}, {T}: Add {U}{R}. {U}{R}: Create a 1/2 (colorless??) Human Artificer creature token. (Is this supposed to be a tap ability??) {C}{U}{R}, Tap an untapped Artificer you control: You get {E}. {U}{R}, Pay {E}, {T}, Tap an untapped Artificer you control: Create a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token with flying. *Is it balanced?* This land has *way* too many abilities. It's also bizarre that it's typed only as an Island when it taps for red mana. **Algarth, God of Artificery** As long as you control five or fewer artifacts and five or fewer Artificers, Algarth isn't a creature. Artificers you control have "{T}: Draw a card." As long as Algarth is a creature, noncreature artifacts you control have "{T}: Add {U}{R}." *Is it balanced?* The condition of requiring *both* five artifacts *and* five Artificers seems needlessly burdensome, but that depends on how many Artificers are also artifacts. The burden is also lessened since it counts itself for both. This can really run away with the game, which is fitting since it costs a whopping 7 mana for the most efficient version. **Solphirn, God of the Mines** As long as you control five or fewer other Miners, Solphirn isn't a creature. Lands you control have "{T}: Create a Gold token." As long as Solphirn is a creature, other Miners you control get +1/+2 and have vigilance. *Is it balanced?* For a 6-mana rare, this is fine. **Thon, the Eldest of the Mines** Lands you control have "{T}: Create a Gold token." Whenever you sacrifice a Gold, add an additional mana ("of any color"???) *Is it balanced?* Probably not. Solphirn already exists as a card to make your lands create Treasures. I'd keep only the additional mana ability on this one.

Wrexial_and_Friends

Are the cards also AI generated? They kind of meander in a way that feels almost unnatural.

Minecraftcutepig

No, this is just my first time making cards, so I have problems with structuring and balancing.

Wrexial_and_Friends

So my advice for new players and new designers is to look up older cards that sort of do the things they want to do and compare and contrast.

M1necra

By the way all the art is Ai generated
