These are all adorable, and so interesting mechanically. I think Biggles and Trumpet/Turbo are the cards I’d most like to build a deck around.
If anything happened to Squiggles, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.
I agree with everything you just said about Squiggles
I hope they return to the party mechanic, so many cards that don't fit into Esper. And this card is clearly pulling in all three Baldur's Gate mechanics (experience counters, party, and dungeons)
1: Any reason you'd not want them copying your own spells? I figure it's for extra turn stuff, but that's not exactly the hardest thing in blue. Well costed, but they should probably fly, even though they're Kenku, right?
2: very clever Hydra lord, I like his take on \[\[Animar\]\]'s normal space.
3: Should all the party types not be written out, or are you wanting the \[\[Pinkie Pie\]\] Synergy? Neat card, I just wish you could fenagle the numbers around to make them cost less.
4: I don't like that the abilities granted are different than the ones it has, like, I wish his static also made them vampires, but obviously as written is stronger.
5: I don't know if that works, but it's a neat \[\[Fblthp\]\] in a bottle.
6: I know this loops with something, I just can't think of it lol.
7: The "its" gets a little confusing, but it's certainly neat.
8: Again, it gets a little squirlly here, but baby dragon seems fun.
9: Such a cute use of recover! So fun!
Biggles uses alchemy syntax which now has precedence because of what WotC is doing with outlaws. It's a batching term, same as historic if that makes sense.
Nah they're based on dungeon and dragons Kenku. Beings who cannot fly and have cursed speech where they can only replicate sounds and voices they heard.
In this case Bam and Thud as they're artificers and their tools make Bam and Thud noises.
These are all great and fun designs. For Bubbles, I wonder if it'd make more sense for it not to be a replacement effect, and instead be something like "When Bubbles is sacrificed, exile it. If you do, return it to the battlefield tapped under it's owner's control at the beginning of the next end step." Then the opponent can also interact/remove it while it's in the yard during the trigger.
Bubbles is fine as-is; somewhat harder to interact with but in exchange it doesn't work with aristocrat triggers? That changes the kinds of decks it would go into.
Doesn't work with death triggers, but can still be sacrificed as a cost for aristocrats, but honestly the actual reason I liked the idea of it actually hitting the graveyard instead of avoiding it was more flavorful!
Something about an ingredient that disappears before it is used doesn't seem like much of an ingredient, I felt like hitting the graveyard was more like "the experiment worked, but bubbles reappeared the next morning as if nothing happened" haha.
Yeah Bam and Thud are _really_ powerful given all the ways to spam artifact tokens these days, but then they printed Shalai and Hallar so maybe you could get away with it
Oh, they are decently powerful, for sure (though junk are not that synergistic as far as artifact tokens go), but I was talking more about the fact that these birds are literally picking at my still living body to create junk, from a flavour-perspective
Love how "Nebulis" sounds like a fancy Greekified version of "Nibbles"
I think the last one needs to be changed to give recover as a static ability - the way it's currently worded, the artifact would already be in the graveyard by the time it gets recover, thus having missed the trigger. But seriously, all of these are amazing
These are some absolutely incredible designs. I would love to play an experience+dungeon deck. One comment about Trumpet and Turbo however; the cards in the graveyard should probably only get the ability until end of turn or utilize a counter in a way, else it could generate some memory-issues.
They're exiled by Trumpet and Turbo, so the typical memory shorthand players would use would be to put the card physically beneath Trumpet and Turbo. If they leave the battlefield and the trigger doesn't activate, it stays in exile forever, so there's not much memory issue here.
I'd love to build Squiggles as a pure "ramp to the moon for big X spells" and then cry when the blue player counters them. Easily my favorite here.
As a Kaalia enjoyer Nibbles also speaks to me, harder to get going but steamroll once its there.

I would love to make a biggles deck
It's really fun to play!

Thank you!
I will make sure not to enter the same room as you in that case
These are all amazing
Thanks! I appreciate your words!
Keep up the good work

Makes sense to me too, it's just a strange thing because my brain is so anti-digital lol

Love this card, both in terms of design, and its name. "Twingineers" - awesome.
So if I have two enchantments that make me create twice as many artifacts or something that doubles truggered abulities, I have a cycle?
The card is great and all but you need to know I will kill for Trumpet and Turbo.
These would genuinely work with just a bit of tinkering. Color me impressed.
Thank you! I honed my craft over time ahah!
Are the ravens a reference to the ones Tchaikovsky wrote for the third Children of Time book?

And you get synergies like Smothering Abomination
I understand but Grave Pact had me really worried so it's why I made it a replacement effect? 🤔

Bam and Thud become a lot less cute when I think about the implications of them making junk using my life...
the implications are pretty clear you lose life because they keep BLOWING SHIT UP IN YOUR GODDAMN HOUSE but they're too cute to hold responsible
Lmao

Ah that's fair

I want a Squiggles deck. That would be so fun
I like the hydra, the 1st dragon and the fungus+snail. Very vool post.
Very good designs! Woaw!

Ah, it appears I misread and didn’t catch the exile part. My apologies
