Can’t remember what the fight was exactly but someone crit my lvl 5/6 occultist and I was like “well whatever it’s fine as long as I don’t roll a 0 on the heal”. Immediately switches to my man at arms who clubs the fucker. “Wow, an achievement…lucky me”.
I dislike bloodlust for this reason. The buff is cool, but not as impactful for boss fights, and it's just not worth having a temporary affliction.
Let your heroes go thirsty, then give them blood to set them into neutral, skipping bloodlust.
Nah Bloodlust is better. Free stress heals, no forced curio interactions wasting money, and the speed and damage buff. You can break the game pretty hard by taking extra blood in combat on someone like Leper.

honestly, getting Shadows Blur Together is way harder than getting any actual Crimson Court progress, so as far as I'm concerned you won here

Wait, when they’re blood listed you can give them MORE blood for a bigger buff?
Yep. Gives them like 40 stress or so, but they also get a nice +50% damage bonus for three rounds
800+ hours in this game and I had no idea.
