Poison Water Bad

Khal drogo is the moderator of r/thalassophobia confirmed

grizzchan

1. Throw sand in Dothraki's eyes 2. Tell him there's poison water coming from his eyes 3. Enjoy his mental breakdown

WatchingInSilence

Essosi Psychological Warfare may seem simple, but Dothraki can be kinda dumb.

datadogsoup

It goes back to their post-apocalypse roots. When the first nuclear strike hit Asshai and then Valyria it caused the ocean waters around Essos to be radioactive for many generations. The ancestors of the Dothraki were the fanatical mechanized infantry and armored division of the Bloodstone Emperor.

Another win for the good guys

xharrisonyellow

I don’t think “another win” and “Blackfyre” can be used in conjunction. They’re still waiting for their first win honestly.

Pyrrhus_the_Epirote

I'm always baffled by the "Look! The Dothraki will conquer Westeros!" plotline. If Drogo has 20,000 Dothraki, and each Dothraki has one riding horse, four remounts, plus livestock horses (since they use horses as their staple food, rather than sheep like the Mongolians), then that's 100,000+ horses (probably closer to 200,000) or about 500-1,000 ships *just to get the horses across*. Never mind the fact that the Dothraki are just unarmored horse archers who apparently think they're shock cavalry?

Most_Enthusiasm8735

I mean yeah. Dothraki are basically have zero tactics, zero armor and don,t know how to siege so they are basically fucked. Alot of people think that dothraki are like mongols which really annoys me. Mongols had great tactics, great commanders like subutai. They also did have armor and they were experts at seige engineering. Tldr: Damn you goerge for making people think that dothraki are like mongols.

DaemonTargaryen13

It was definitely more of a "let's cause chaos to weaken Aegon's ennemies so that he can swoop in with the Golden Company".

Makes perfect sense when you realize what pre-modern sailing was like
