I kind of unironically like this roster for the Ultimates all the Marvel greatest heroes from the icon three to Dr. Doom/reed & Sif for some originality to it
i only wish the teaser character are like Ultimate Captain marvel or Wasp so it isn't predominantly a sausage fest
Looks like the writer is Deniz Camp, who did 20th Century Men for Image, though, not Hickman, right? Or is this something written by Hickman for the FCBD issue?

The Fantastic Four were never created because Johnny, Ben and Sue were killed by The Maker before they could be exposed to cosmic radiation. Consequently, Reed became Earth-6160's Doctor Doom. It seems that he is working from information in the Maker's files on how to replicate the Four's destined accident, using rats as test subjects.

No, it seems to be a weird fusion universe of the two. Spider-Man seems to have the 616 origin, yet Thor looks very heavily based on Ultimate Thor design wise.
Ultimate Thor was formerly a god too, and since The Maker went through time to change history, he could’ve time traveled to before Thor died to let Loki take over to imprison him so Thor never reincarnated into Earth.
It’s really sad that the only badass lady on this team is Sif. They could have the opportunity to do something really different with this team. Instead it’s the same old avengers.
I don't know, the shadowy figure below Black Panther kinda looks like Wind-Rider (Ororo Munroe). There's also another woman between her and DoomReed. Safe to say the roster is going to grow in a couple of issues.
I hope so! If any character can easily graduate out of the X-men, it’s Storm. Tho she’s not a part of in this universe, but you get the point. But I’m hoping for more wild takes that have never been members in the 616.
I'm hoping for the same. This new Ultimate universe has the opportunity to shake characters out of their usual comfort zones. So far it feels like they're going to stick with that, especially with all the heroes confirmed to be killed by Maker before Ultimate Invasion.
BTW, forgot to mention that Wasp is also confirmed as part of the team.
Yeah, the last issue of the ultimates mini had a room full or vaults or something, that contained the hidden/stollen powers and stories of the heroes. I wonder if we gonna have any crazy, surprising additions to the roster. Imagine someone like mystique as an avenger? Or maybe Jessica jones can finally get a mantle again. Who knows.
