In an age of unfun clunky mo-cap animations (SF6 gets a pass at-least in Capcom's library.) it's a breath of fresh air to return to simpler animations that feel very unique to the game, Plus mocap typically involves poor turning in some games.
I will die on the hill that these animations are what makes Dead Rising Dead Rising.
Even as a kid, I could tell something was off in Dead Rising 2 and I think it was the downgrade in the animations.
